In today's age of technology, dictators and their loyal puppets are using the media to influence public opinion, to alienate society from democracy and the free world. Infultrating weak minds and filling it with 'anti west sentiment'. They are using public opinion to target global bilatiral partnerships such as NATO, EU and G7, organizations which they believe is strictly "pro western". Blaming the west for their own mistakes. In 2014, Ukraine (an independent country) wanted to join the EU, the reason Ukraine was seeking this partnership, is to strengthen their economy, trade and workforce, NONE of what they wanted was "politically" motivated in any way whatsoever. But Putin treated it in a political context, he interfered with ukraine's internal politics (which he had no right to do..), and brainwashed the ukrainian president to betray his own people in favor of becoming another eurasian puppet state. You can imagine the outrage of the proud ukrainian people at his last moment betrayal. When they spoke up and thought back.. Putin threw a tantrum and invaded its southern region. For three years they have been making excuses for Putin, protecting him through bilatiral manipulation in the UN and economic coersion. Now that Ukraine is gaining momentum and pushing back towards russian borders, now russians are playing the "victims", accusing them of aggression and calling for peace. Why did the russians not call for peace three years ago..? What changed..? If the russians truly want peace, then here is what needs to be done>, withdraw all russian forces from illegally occupied ukraine territory, stop making nuclear threats, call for Putin's resignation, and apologise for the losses that ukraine has had to suffer. And stop using the media to manipulate public opinion. Allow Russia to have free and fair elections, with terms NOT exceeding 5 years in office (per term, with a maximum of two terms in total> 10 years or less). That is a similar approach to the actual dialog that Russia agreed to in 1991 when they signed the accords, recognizing ukraine's independence in writing. Since they are in breach of this agreement.. they are not entitled to "peace talks" unless they abide by the original terms

Subscribed. Perhaps the most frightening thing for me at this point in history is how a critical mass of fellow citizens in democracies are getting fooled and blinded by Autocracy Inc.'s propaganda. Not seeing it for the dangerous weapon it is, even carrying, spreading and helping to fire it at their own country and its machinery. And down the line, at themselves. This virus is more dangerous in its consequences than Corona, and it's a pandemic.

As someone with a decent knowledge of history, it scares me just how quickly larger nations seem to be slipping into despotism. I am scared that the bastions of freedom may fall like the Weimar Republic of Old.

This video is misleading in a sense that it targets only 1 group of villains. There's another group of villains as well that never restrained from attacking countries, throwing democratic governments and what not.

you forgot the most important aspect: create dialogue with the citizens of autocratic regimes. A regime can't operate without the cooperation of its population.
