I am a newly hired dialysis tech and terminating treatments intimidates me. I have no issues starting treatment and cannnulating because i did phlebotomy but ending treatments is tricky imo. I am off work today and will be studying

What’s the point of holding the venous chamber upside down and hitting the reset button all the time to then put it into its place won’t you achieve the same result putting into the venous chamber place and filling it up right there.

Can you show the old way to rinseback when you actually don't connect the arterial line to the saline port at all, instead you leave it connect it to the needles.

Sloppy, tedious, and bad picture. End TX, cancel reinfusion, then pump will run. Then when ready, hit the little man again to resume dialysis. 👍

There is a better way than this. Way simplier and faster. End treatment> re infuse> coupling back to bridge> remove all old lines and throw to trash. Set a new lines as you would normally do same as starting a new treatment. Remember not to clamp the venous tubing to the metal clip located right after the venous chamber. Hand crank pump then once prime. Marry the lines then connect coupling back to dialyzer then press green man. Then back to treatment. Viola!

We just got these machines the other day. I tore down the old set up and hand cranked to prime the venous line since I couldn't get the blood pump to spin. I will try this next time. Thank you!

Mary , Thank you for your educational VIDEO. I do have a question about your acute unit. We have a hose contraprion we put over the toilet when doing bedside, DO you also have this? Out ICU does have wall box drains but were told unable to use as flies came up. Any ideas or thoughts for the RO reject and Machine darin?
