    Depending on how much matter surrounds this über planet, it could, theoretically, become massive enough to evolve into a dwarf red star (at a mass increase of roughly 60%).

      The NASA budget is microscopic compared to the national budget. If you’re going to comment your opinions on it, you should also know that countless scientific discoveries have actually paved the way for profitable sciences that produce taxable revenue that faaaar exceeds any money we’ve ever put into purely scientific research. Things like MRI machines, the internet, computers and everything in between exists today because we “wasted money” on scientific research that didn’t have a profit incentive

    Why edge of the universe and not the center. So we know there was a big bang? Shouldn’t we really be asking where it started? Once we know that maybe we’ll know which way the edge is… I mean the closest edge anyways… cuz if you think about it, isn’t the edge in all directions?

    So is it even possible that at one time the moon was habitable? Like if it had water then it could have had an atmosphere, right? And if it had a magnetic field then could it of hosted life, or is this just a far stretch?

    The universe is very much older than calculated because science does not comprehend how to calculate universal time.

    • @Beyond_The_Horizon_BTH
      @Beyond_The_Horizon_BTH 12 дней назад

      Our estimate of the universe's age, 13.8 billion years, is based on what we can observe, such as the cosmic microwave background and the expansion rate of the universe. As science advances and we gather new data, these estimates could evolve. Universal time remains a fascinatingly complex concept

    • @bevparr-o9z
      @bevparr-o9z 12 дней назад

      @Beyond_The_Horizon_BTH It's not complex, just not understood by blinkered scientists

    • @bevparr-o9z
      @bevparr-o9z 7 дней назад

      @Beyond_The_Horizon_BTH It's not complex. Do you suppose that an arbitrary timescale based on a tiny planet orbiting a totally insignificant sun in a minor galaxy gives a true solution? Lifeforms everywhere in the universe will have their own ideas of its age, but it would be possible to assimilate all predictions because the underlying scale of time is universal and is what governs each assessment anywhere and everywhere in the universe. However, when we are considering an event such as a big bang, where we suggest there to be almost infinite mass in a very small space then we have to take account of the effects of that mass on the rate at which time has been slowed. Since the mass is near infinite then the flow of time is near stopped. This does not mean motion has near stopped as that motion is the cause of the slowing. Hence the initial stages of our universe would in fact have taken billions more years to create to what we think must be the theoretical/observable start. If one considers the situation where virtually no mass is present, eg prior to a big bang or in the centre of a massive void between galaxy clusters then as we know from relativity time will flow extremely quickly such that particle pairs are being produced in such quantities that entanglement is the norm and what we call dark energy exists. Thus Cosmic Time ie that controlling our universe and all other universes is absolute and varies between absolute limits of completly stopped and passing infinitely quickly. Then of course we have to observe the laws of Quantum mechanics which don't allow us to reach absolute limits, but recognises there will be some small variations that might at some moment take us so close to the limit that something mega happens.

  • @mcarp555
    @mcarp555 13 дней назад

    The age of the star is an estimate, with an error of around 700-800 million years on either side. This would put it well within the current estimated age of the Universe. In other words, this short is clickbait.

    • @Beyond_The_Horizon_BTH
      @Beyond_The_Horizon_BTH 12 дней назад

      You're correct that the age of stars is an estimate, often with a margin of error. However, the video aims to spark curiosity about the fascinating methods scientists use to study the universe. Thanks for sharing your insight!
