Globetrotting Schoolers
США
Добавлен 9 сен 2018
We are a family of four who wanted to ditch the rat race. So we recalibrated our goals, aligned our resources, and took the plunge. And here we are homeschooling on the road. Learning without borders. Seeking knowledge one country at a time. Satiating our wanderlust. Discovering the world and ourselves more. Living the life we've always dreamed of. We do us.
Life is too short and there's a whole world out there to learn and explore!!!

AVIGNON (France): Le Petit Train d'Avignon
If you don't have a lot of time to spare when visiting Avignon, The Petit Train Avignon is one of the best ways to see what this charming city has to offer.
It might be difficult to cover all the attractions on foot when you are pressed for time, so this is a great way to have an overview of these attractions and the quaint, cobbled streets.
For us, this 45-min ride was worth it. It was enjoyable and relaxing. It could get bumpy though on some areas because of the cobbled streets along the route. It might trigger a little motion sickness. (My apology for the shaky videos - some parts.)

Let me take you to the quiet town of Consuegra which, in Spanish, means "mother-in-law of a person's son or daughter". But Castilla la Mancha is one of Spain's biggest regions. The best-preserved wind...

Oh thanks!
Those cave systems were extensive "all hands on deck" projects. But they were'nt built initially to hide from other humans. In fact, most of the earths crust is interlaced with millions of miles of these structures. If they were to protect themselves from other people, why would you connect all of these cities together? If another weaker city fell, the army could then enter the underground there and conquer every city they found connected. And, if that many people went under like that, imagine the wealth that they took down there with them. That in and of itself would have been too big an incentive to let go. Somebody somewhere would have sold that info to the nefarious conquerers of the day. No. The air shafts from the surface rules out refuge from floodwaters.. the "roll -into -place round rock doors wouldnt keep an attacker from eventually breaking through. It would however keep animals, giants and dragons out. It would be the standard of housing people world wide if say dinosaurs or giants ruled above. I think what they fled was something that would literally eat people alive. The most terrifying possibility would make these cities necessary. Nobody wants to be eaten alive. The last possible reasons would be heat or sunflares so massive and radioactive as to make most sick, even more killed. That heat may have sourced from a flying creature like a dragon as well. idk. However, whatever this "guide" says it pure speculation based on his own beliefs.
Thank you for this interesting info.
I enjoyed your tour! Thank you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is it hard to find the manila airplane place?
if you read any board, is not difficult, lm working airport almost 9 years l really angry people who want all persons put diaper on their back. Before airport lve been many countries l never ask questions only one time l asked manina niyon aiport which time Qatar counter turn on only that. l think people easy escape to read and to work little brein. bcoz every international airport same board and decribe way to find. Passenger asked question toilet l said 3 times even though after ten meters later they asked again other person. layz people, only European people asked less question they are following boards and plates
Istanbul airport is quite big but it wasn't hard to find the flights.
The map at the beginning of the video is not the map of Germany. This is West Germany from 1949 to 1990.
Thanks for the info. That has been pointed out to me before. I just need to find time to redo the intro clip for the succeeding Germany videos.
Hi, Nice views from skywalk!! Which month this video was shoot?

Thanks for the tips!

Who's the narrator? Strong Latino accent but, pronouncing Spanish towns names she sounded kind of American but, not quite. Good effort, though.

I'm not sure about the gondola. We only knew of this funicular cable ride.
Thank you po🙏🙏🙏
Istanbul Airport is big but I think 2 hrs of layover is ok. As long as your flight going to Istanbul is not delayed. You'll go through another security gate for your handcarry luggage but it's quite efficient so it won't take long. If still pressed for time, you flag down a buggy ride to the boarding gate. Don't worry, no bus or tram rides to take.
@@GlobetrottingSchoolers thank you po sana nga po di delayed ung flight namin on our way to istanbul.Thank you din po sa information na binigay nyopo sakin.God bless. The buggy ride can be avail paying there in the airport?or it depends on the privelages for each passenger po?
Thank you - do I have to worry about buying tickets ahead of time?
Since the venue has a very limited seating, it's better to buy tickets ahead of time especially on peak season.
may i know the app name?
IGA
Hi new subscriber here, ask ko lng if need pa ba ng transit visa sa istanbul? Thanks
No need for transit visa if you're not planning to exit the airport.
So I am a Diamond member for Hilton, and I know I can access Executive Lounge. I just would have thought I can only bring 1 person with me and that it includes kids.
I'm sorry, I have no information about this. But thanks for letting me know since I also have Hilton membership and I didn't even know there's some kind of tie up.
Hi! Did they hand out overnight amenity kits? (Toothbrush/eyemask/socks etc)
I actually can't remember. But thank you for asking because I'll make sure I'd include that piece of info on my next flight videos.
please leave the camera on the descriptions in the future so I can read the whole paragraph
Will do. Thank you for the suggestion.
Good look at history, but this video could've done without the music.
My apologies. I was such a newbie when I made this video. I should have turned down the background music.
Music was distracting in this video.
My apologies. It was done during the early days when I was still learning how to create videos.
I loved it, but is that Stevie Ray Vaughn?
Wonderful tour. Enjoyed every moment. The video great. (Reality no editing) A phenomenal tribute to an ancient civilization that has given so much to mankind. Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed it! We learned a lot from this visit.
This is so special to me in that these children have been taught their history and literature of Greece. As a retired history educator I am impressed and happy.
I only wish our local children could be exposed to their ancient British and Cymric history and literature in the same way, but it has been displaced in favour of classics and 'anglosaxon' history. We really need to share with them Britain's Hidden History too.
Thank you for the nice comment. Our travels enabled our kids to learn more about history. Visiting the places that are mentioned in their school books created more understanding and lasting memories.
