Hi, I believe I purchased this from UGREEN www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PLYZ7J3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1. I think it was a little bit struggle and I found a tiny sweet spot to route the cable with a bit of push.

Hi, do you have the screen connected over USB-C as power source, and also HDMI cable to graphics card for display?

@acez3186 Yes, I have the monitor powered via USB C 25W adapter. Then, the monitor is connected using mini HDMI to HDMI to my desktop graphic card. The screen turns on and says "no signal" then "power saving mode". When it first turns on the PC will make a noise like the display was detected, but it does not actually.

@acez3186 Are you running windows 11? None of my Windows 11 machines work with the monitor but, my xbox works with it fine. Also, my graphics card is gigabyte RTX 3080 10GB

@@EagleEye746 Yeah I'm running Windows 11 now and it has been fine. Do you have Nvidia graphics card?

@acez3186 Yes, I have Nvidia RTX 3080. My main monitor is connected via display port and the Azropa connected mini HDMI to HDMI, I used the same cable you are using.

Do you think it's not a good idea? I was thinking of intake from the bottom, and exhaust through radiator and top

do you mean by a internal crack like thing under the shell?

@@acez3186 yes. a lot of people reported that issue. Mine is fine out of the Box, but many said it cracks over time

@@loewe-lamm yeah mine was fine out of box and overtime I noticed a line under the screen, not as bad as those on reddit but still visible

both my usb c cable to power the monitor and the hdmi are 90 degrees, though the hdmi cable is still a bit too long than my likings and I had to push the cable for a bit.

@@acez3186 I've rotated the screen, cables to the down and on the right side cable hole under AIO, I think it's gives more flexibility to the screen centering

Yes, for the mini-HDMI port on the portable monitor.

I figured that it might be a overkill to add another exhaust fan, and I like the look without it more.

@@ultramasterultra5724 Negative pressure isn't necessarily bad and I haven't seen dust problem tbh. But if I feel like the problem gets worse then I can just add the rear fan.

The display turns off automatically when I power off the computer, and same when computer goes to sleep. I can't say for sure whether it's "off off" since it's powered by mobo's USB-C port, which could still have power when pc is shut off.

I connect it to my GPU as my CPU does not have a built-in graphics output, but if you use Intel CPU you may be able to use its display output.

It's called "Wallpaper Engine" on Steam and you can find many static picture or videos for wallpaper, then I basically just rotate those from the settings.

Do you mean by there's a gap between the monitor and side panel, maybe on the top? I believe I had similar issue when I first mounted it and I basically just bent the cable as much as possible and find a proper holder to support the monitor to keep it in place, otherwise it would fall down and leave a gap.

The radiator was screwed to the case frame. I mounted the screws from the back side of the case (where you do all the wire management) and pushed the radiator as far as possible to the motherboard side so that I can have clearance for the monitor.

1. It's the regular Steam version wallpaper engine but set the second monitor to be vertical. 2. I screwed the radiator on the back and tried my best to push it as far as possible before screwing it down.

Where did you connect the type c and mini hdmi to? Type C is for charging so any usb c port on the motherboard rear end should be fine. I use Ryzen CPU therefore I have to rely on my GPU for video output, thus I connect the mini HDMI - HDMI cable to the graphics card.

@@acez3186 type c goes to my mobo (asus rog x570) and hdmi to gpu ( evga 3090)

@@giwrgoseuaggelou725 That seems correct to me. Have you sorted it out yet? Maybe do a sanity check first that the monitor is working properly by connecting a different source to it (e.g. Nintendo Switch)

@@acez3186 manages to fix it out. What worked for me: unplugged all the monitors and booted the ox with the portable monitor only, that made it work and then I plugged every monitor I had and all working now!

What's your reason for the motherboard choice? I sticked with my old motherboard from previous PC build and am still using AMD chips. I agree an ITX mobo would prob look better in here.

Thank you and I hope you can build your wonderful PC soon! Honestly I won't say it's annoying to build it at all. The wire management isn't bad comparing to building an ITX. The only pain I had was to find a proper filler to support the portable monitor at a good height :p

I'm not too familiar with the size of EVO but i have found this reddit thread www.reddit.com/r/lianli/comments/si6u04/lian_li_evo_front_monitor_mod_has_anyone_done_one/. It seems that 15.6" might be your best bet.

If you are referring to the brightness of the portable monitor, no I do not need to change anything for each boot. My wallpaper engine software will display the playlist I set properly each time.

I still screw the bottom fans and AIO fans as usual. Just need to push fans or AIO to the side a bit more.

Yes it is something in my mind if I do bother opening my pc case. I'm no expert in airflow design either but I do hear that negative air pressure is better for cooling but gets dust easier. I left my AIO fans in this way just for aesthetics reasons. Also good luck with building your new pc, yes it would be gorgeous once you turn it on!

It’s a bit tight in space I’d say. I pushed the radiator as close to the far side as possible (restricted by the screws), but you can probably just tape it if you want to push further. For my case I was able to slide the monitor inward but not completely due to part of the radiator blocking the bezel, but it looks decent enough so I’m fine with leaving it as it is for now.

Do you mean by tube at the bottom? If so, that's actually the preferred orientation comparing to tubes on the top if I stick with this vertical AIO placement.

@@distortjapan ​ so the basic idea is to never let the pump (round part, in my video it's the one with LCD screen) to be the highest point of the entire AIO. In the time stamp you've pointed out, the radiator is beneath the pump, which is problematic. However in my case, my radiator is placed vertically, and the top of the radiator is still above the pump. 14:07 is talking about the best placement (I can't do it since mine is 280mm not 360mm). 14:38 he busted the myth.

Since Ryzen 5800X is a hot chip I figured that I could slap those two fans on the back side to help more on cooling. However recently I've been thinking that it might create negative pressure in the case and would lead to dust problem over the time, so I'm debating whether I want to keep them or not in the future. But no I did not try to benchmark without those two fans.

Yes I have the NZXT 280mm Z63 mounted vertically next to the mobo

With AIDA64 stress testing I got around 74C for CPU. Generally for GPU after playing Apex for a while I think it's on the level of 50-60C for GPU. I do run a fan curve favoring quietness over performance.
