bo can u share these spots on maps
my nana lives in Noosa waters and I'd never thought of fishing at the lock. I'll be chucking a line out next visit.
''are we keepin him ? , we don't have any ice'' that's why ya take matches
Good on ya lads
Nice fishing Lads. Plenty of cod.
Aint no way you kept that jack bro theres not many left in the system that size man, otherwise nice vid 🤙
I know im late to the video but what size hooks are u using because i just keep on cathing little bream on pilchards
@@midnighttshorts7701 probably just 3-0 set hooks I think
could you let me know what lures and rod n reel your using trying to get a light setup for lures and yours seems perfect
Bit of a while to remember but one of the setups was a simaki rod with a Stradic reel. Pretty sure we were using bait the whole time
@@thefishnlads1323 thanks bro
love your videos
What fish can you catch there, any long tail or Spanish possible here?
Possibly man, I’ve seen people catch stuff like that close by. Usually at Hells Gates, all the top water action I’ve seen is a little ways out from the ledge
Planning to go Noosa next week which swell shouldn’t you go on and is this spot easy to find
@@srduckyoce1084 probably no more than 1.8 meters. There’s a walking track from granite bay car park
@@thefishnlads1323 how long the walk thanks
@@srduckyoce1084 about 30 to 40 mins depending on how fast you walk
Thongs on barnies....realy
Where is the spot where you got the cod
Ravenwood Park
What kid of bait were use guys using
Pilchards if I can remember 👍
Looks awesome mate. What's that location called?
Hells Gates
i live across from that pier i usually catch nothing there
Nothing bites down here at night time what a stitch up 😭
the weir going to Noosa waters. Never would have thought that Estuary Cod love it there.
estuary cod love it everyone haha
Good on ya lads! Going out to fish the rocks at 1770 tomorrow morning, hope I manage to catch a feed!
NICE CAPTURE BOYS! Definitely puts my bullies to shame! 😳😳
Wait... did you eat that u better not!
*monster fish* that ain't a monster that's a lung
if you look in your pants I'm sure you'll find a lung instead of a monster.
Its a saratoga
What bait did you use and were you using a sinker
Great video by the way
If your talking about the shark setup, we were using chunks of freshwater eel. But with spin rods we were using pilchards
@@thefishnlads1323 nice mate might have to try it sometime
When you use pilchards do you use them while or use them as cut bait?
We cut them up
@@thefishnlads1323 👍
Nice balanced standing on punt
What bait
Mostly pilchards
Where’s the spot we’re ur mate caught a bull shark and a cod.
Ravenswood park
where did you catch the black tips from which part of 1770 please
East side of Bustard Bay lookout 👍
Good vid boys!
hey buddy are there any mud crabs 🦀 at the first spot or anywhere around noosa
Yeah there definitely should be. Don't know about how active they are coming off the cold months of the year
hey buddy is this a dam built to protect the house along the canal from king high rising tides ? can clean sea water flow in the canal to clear the water or is it always brown. 🤔
This is just a spill way to flush out the water. Boats use the gate to go in and out through the canals. Depending on the weather conditions the water is usually fairly clean without any rain stirring up the water.
It is one of the first man made canal estates in southeast Queensland made back in the 1990s. The water level was raised above sea level and is access is controlled with a lock and weir system. Likely it provides a safe haven for small fish from predators like bull sharks and it isn't exactly a spot you would think to go fishing.
It's a moases.
Hi mate check your instagram, I've sent a few messages
Great video mate. What bait were you using? Seems like no one else goes to that spot!
We were just using pilchards and the fish were all over it 👌
what setup would you recommend for this spot
We didn't really have the right rods for the spit on the day but with just our casual 3-6kg rods we were doing just fine. Anything heavier would be a more go to option. We were using a gang hook paternoster rig when using bait. We were using slugs on wire trace when we switched to lures. Lures would be better if your planning on chasing pelagic's 👍
@@thefishnlads1323 2/0 - 4/0 hook and 10 - 15 kg lines , 10 ft or longer rods are the go if you get a good fish you wont be cut off wire leaders are a great backup if it get hot .
Well done boys ! We may have some content to interest you 🍻👍
Ayy this is where I fish near the jetty at harbour town
nice catch guys! may i ask what's the bait for cod and sharks?
For the sharks we were using freshwater eel chunks. Same with the cod but we didn't expect it to eat that much
Just a heads up - 6 mile creek and anything above it is closed water- - no fishing allowed. Nice work on the sooties though.
Spot bagus untuk mancing ikan👍👍🙏🇮🇩
And what bait do you use?
Drive down Portside Ct, and there is a path straight to the spot. We mainly use pilchards for spots like this
Where is this spot? I might check it out the next time I go
Noosa lock
👍👏👏👏
reccomended spots at noosa?
Anywhere in Woods Bay and Noosa Waters canals
Noosa river and beach is full Of bull sharks
Any of you boys got a facey or something I can contact you on; Tryna get out for a shark soon and was gonna ask for some tips and stuff
Don't really use Facebook but if you have Insta you can add me @_mjp12_ or just add my personal Facebook facebook.com/mattjp.112
@@thefishnlads1323 yeah too easy mate done that now
May I know where is the second place?
If your talking about where the Tarwhine was caught, it's at the bus stops across the road from William street
May I know where is the spot you caught the big cod?
@@jamesho4296 ah ok sorry, Ravenwood Park
@@thefishnlads1323 Thank you.
Looks like lotsa fresh in there.Good vid though and from the best part of the world, man I love Noosaville.... Keep 'em coming boys, and hey, you're only young once so enjoy, nothing like goin' for a fish with your mates.
Sure was a lot of fresh. Heaps of rain throughout the last couple of weeks.
What kind of shark?
Bull shark
If you plan on heading up here again let me know, I'll try put you guys onto some proper pelagics!
