❤❤❤❤great❤❤❤❤ btw do you customize yourself for OB/ OD's?
for this harmonica, yes I adjusted all by myself: Gaps and a very little embossing. But for „real“ embossing I lack time. Thank you!
❤
@@detharp Thanks 😊
Thank youuuuu!!!
no octave play here?
How do you mean?
for example 3 and 6 blow, sounds richer imho❤ thnx for your kind work@@aleX_k_punkt
@ Ah I got it! Good idea! For now I try to copy the solo as „original“ as possible. But when we try to „harmonicazise“ the solo it‘s a perfect idea 💡 🙂
@ … and thank you for your kind comment
This is awesome man🙌🏼
I’ve never seen that before, how does it work? Billies Bounce is fire tho!
practice, practice, practice 😊
@@aleX_k_punkt Yep, that’s the key… but I was asking about the instrument 😅 so small but so many notes?
@@magicanna4289 ten hole harmonica with three octaves of notes, should be enough 😅 that‘s all
works on my melodymaker greatly, fun❤
That's awesome 🎉
Super cool keep it up !!!!!
Amazing!
Great choice, great tune. Just a suggestion from another harmonica player who is also a jazz “enthusiast.” Focus on the rhythm of this tune and don’t worry about the melody. Listen to it a slow tempo and try to play the rhythm with one note. Once the rhythm is in your head, you can work on the notes melodically. It can be difficult to learn both at the same time. If you can play the rhythm almost anything you play on top of it will sound great.
Hi there thank you so much for your kind comment! I appreciate your suggestion and try it out. It sounds very promising. Thank you 🙏
nice but i only play by ear
Thank you! By ear is far the best way, I do this also. cheers from Hamburg
Nice!
Zertyu est un chômeur
😂😂😂😂
😮
oh ja
Schön wars im Mobile Blues Club in Hamburg!
You are making progress
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I‘m still working on the intonation. Also the timing is not good someone else mentioned. I was focusing (too much) on the fact that it is my first selfheard jazz blues solo. I have the harmonica from Hohner and did gapping by myself and also did some embossing. The embossing improved not as much as the gapping, maybe because I‘m not too good in embossing. Hope this helps, have a great day. Cheers
Oh no, don’t take my comment as negative at all! The playing was excellent, especially for a first attempt at Jazz. I ask only because I customize harps and can lend a hand if you have questions about the specifics. Are you familiar with reed profiling? It makes a HUGE difference with OB’s because it allows you to gap them very tight without having them choke.
Solid playing but the intonation on the overblows is a bit off. Do you customize your own harps?
Gutes Spiel! Ist nämlich gar nicht so einfach!
nice job
Thank you so much! Appreciate your feedback!
Hab oft en abend dort verbracht als gast student circa 2007. Viel Glück.
nice!
Add licks
The last time I sat in with a band, I had an Eb harp with me. We played Tenor Madness in Bb. The combo was electric hollow body guitar, five-string bass and tenor sax. Playing this tune with an Eb harp was a gas!
Nice
Very cool, but so hard to make it sound real good .. thanks for posting!
indeed it is 😊
That solo sounds good on the harp
Nice tone, it's a tough one, I'm going to try. Not bad at all!
Thank you so much! I came away from that one, because it is very challenging with its changes. But I'll come back to it when I have grown a little bit.
@@aleX_k_punkt yeah, those changes are tough on our instrument… I tried earlier today, I think you did a great job
WOW!!!! I cant wait to hear the entire Album.

Ça ne vaut pas le chromatique ......bluesette massacré .....
Merci beaucoup, c'est très gentil. Cependant, je ne comprends pas le français.
Großartig. Geile Intonation - war ja immer schon Dein Ding.
Congratulation for this slow version of Donna Lee, wich works very well played slowly. I'll do the same. You inspired me.
I‘m happy to hear that this one, with all imperfections, had an impact for you. Thank you 🙏 for your feedback.
That was weird.
Yeah bluesette is great!
Yeah it really is. And also quite challenging for me.
