RC Life Chose Me
США
Добавлен 5 июл 2023
I didnt choose the RC Life...the RC Life chose me. This channel will be home to all RC related shenanigans I get up to.
Mowing in Style
It may not be efficient, but I finally pulled off a functioning RC lawnmower! Used an existing 3 in 1 weedeater and bolted a caster wheel for turning.

Right to the Top - Abusing the FCX10
Просмотров 23914 часов назад
Today I set out to Turkey Mountain in Tulsa again with plans on checking out the "Yellow Trail", but I branched off onto a promising trail called "Right to the Top". I was glad I did, this trail did not disappoint. As usual the video does not do the inclines justice. I really beat the tar out of the blazer today, but it didnt miss a beat. #rccrawler #fmsmodel #rcscale "Ancient Mystery Waltz (Pr...
Trail Towing!

The 6x6 hauls an EazyRC Glacier down a trail. This video didnt want to be made...first I forgot my tripod, next my transmitter batteries died 2 minutes in, and my camera kept losing focus. Losing My Luggage on Turkey Mountain
Просмотров 9321 день назад
Today I spent a little more time exploring the Turkey Mountain trail system in search of some good crawling spots. The FMS FCX10 performed admirably, but comically dumped all its' scale accessories up a hill. It made me laugh so I kept in in for you guys. K5 on the Saw Blade Trail

Today I revisit Turkey Mountain again with the FMS FCX10 but this time I try out a new trail, the "Saw Blade Trail". An abundance of rocks made for lots of options. Will probably visit this one again. #rccrawler #fmsmodel #rcscale #blazer "Bumba Crossing" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Aztec Death Whistle on a Gorgon!

Inspired by a recent Tomley video I decided attach an Aztec death whistle to an RC to see if we can generate enough air pressure to blow it. Spoiler alert...it didnt work, however you can still witness the wonder and... sophistication of my experiment, and there is some trail bashing in between attempts. @@RcpsychoRen thanks. it was a fun one
make movie is not so easy...as you can told now!! lol.( This video didnt want to be made...first I forgot my tripod, next my transmitter batteries died 2 minutes). i had the same story last time. no luck ......but i have to say that i love your 6x6....very nice one
Fake
This , or the Redcat Ascent Fusion ?
@@FloridaKeysPirate That was actually what I had to decide between when I bought this. It comes down to preference, the Ascent Fusion is probably the better performing truck, but I was looking for scale so I went with the FCX10 in my case. I still want an Ascent Fusion
Nice video. Great score with the music. 👍
@@taaron_haut_rc Thanks for watching!
Correctly Phase-in your driveshaft and thatll help with the "wah, wah, wah" when it drives. As for the spur gear, try loosening and retightening it might help if it doesn't bend it straight with your fingers. Or try a cheap plastic Axial spur gear.
Need funnels feed more air into the whistles. But it also seemed like they might be getting drowned out by the regular RC noises.
200k work and it finally comes close to a GU Patrol
@@bennyrest9122 No thanks, with RC rollovers are less expensive
nice walk!! thanks for sharing...i go out with my unimog this afternoon....
Thanks, good luck with the Unimog. Which Unimog is it? FMS?
@@RCLifeChoseMe home made from a UK kit...expensive in 3d! on a cheap trx4 copy from china!! lol movie this afternoon ;)

@@Pappythelegend Never claimed it was real. But yes, it is an RC Crawler
Beautiful crawler 😊🧡🤍
@@Fortes_RC_Adv thanks
Are they stock? I don’t think so
Where did you get those rims and tires from?
@@Traxxas_lover Tires are Pitbull Rock Beasts. Wheels are the closest OEM looking wheel i couls find: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07ZCSGFLC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Not heavy, but they look good
@@RCLifeChoseMe thanks I am for sure getting those!
@@Traxxas_lover Just keep in mind the wheels are not performance, so pretty lightweight
@@RCLifeChoseMe I am going for scale
Very nice !!! 👍👍👍 is it waterproof???
@@ONFLOOD-RC So far yes, but I have heard people say that the microservers for the diff lock, and gear change die easily. Havent had problems with mine yet though
We have a road exactly like that in my town ,

Nice relaxing crawl video! You got some awesome crawl spots! I wish i had more around me!
FMS really stepped their game up. Awesome video. Nice smooth scale driving👍🏾🔥
Thanks. Im really loving the FCX10
If only they had a ford body on it
I just got my cvd axles now I'm waiting for the brush less motor 😮😁👍
Dude, your creativity is unmatched! From the editing to the witty writing! Excellent video!!
thanks, I appreciate it
Man that little losi rips!
It sure does. When my son tried it he was like "how do you drive this thing?"
Great footage of an awesome truck! I still don't have one yet. I'm fixing to build an scx10.3 here soon though.
Truck looks great - awesome video !
thanks!
Hey man, that was fun!
Thanks, im glad im not the only one that enjoyed it
hey man! great content. are you living in Tulsa? i saw your Turkey Mountain video, im planning in going there later today. cheers up mate! looking forward to meet people and be crawling together, i have a fms fcx18 and fms fj140 1/10
Awesome. I live in Owasso and frequent the Collinsville Lake Trail. Have a new baby so at the moment I have only gone to the better places like Chandler and Turkey Mountain when time allows. If you havent already check out the Tulsa RC Addicts group on Facebook. You can find people to group crawl with.

Get the mini drag slicks tires it's a perfect fit for your mini b and it might go a bit faster 😎👍
Thanks, will check it out.
@@richardbrown6762 thats exactly what i ended up doing. I call it the Mini-Beast now
Is it with stock motor/esc?
Yes all stock except Proline Badlands tires
Very creative and fun. Well done.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the comment.
Dammm that little thing is crazy fast niceee
Yes it sure was. Thanks for watching
It looks like your back axle is out of phase. Maybe rotate the one end 90 degrees. Should help some. And thanks for the thorough review and walkthrough. Very helpful video. Your work and time are appreciated.
Thanks for the input. I think you are right. I checked this and it may need some modification to straighten so for now I've been using it as-is.
My esc burned out after the first major use but it's a beast at crawling
Thats too bad. My ESC still works but i have it as a spare currently. Receiver did die eventually though
I moved winch on mine furthest to the front that I could. 2 front winch bolts are near the black edge. Closer to the license plate area
Awesome scale running footage 👍🏾
Thanks! I appreciate the view
Lol! Hilarious!
👍
Did you ever figure out what that shaking was in your transmission was it the rear edge or the spur gear
👍👍
Wow that things are beast watch your other videos bro ask before how did you fix that shaking is that hurts your daily driver
No the hearse i drive once a week usually. I didnt address the shaking yet. For now I left as is
Really like in the 6 by 6 did you figure out what was wrong with the drivetrain while it shaking so much
Paint job looks good
Did you ever figure out what did jittery was in the drivetrain
Someone pointed out to me that the angle of the driveshaft on the rear shaft joint was causing the jumping. I havent solved it yet
