I applaud the efforts. Cycling is tough around the area because of heavy car traffic. A cycle way could be helpful.

Spoke to a shop owner up near the dental hospital who had to lay off staff due to the fall in business because of this project. He said there was nowhere for people to stop their cars to uplift their takeaway meals so they just stopped using his shop. This isn’t helping anyone.

A great addition and improvement to the passenger experience at Greenock Ocean Terminal. But one thing that I can wholeheartedly disagree with is the link bridge from the pontoon to the passenger welcome centre. The link bridge is not covered and is totally open to the elements, the Scottish elements at that. A more suitable structure would have been more appropriate in my opinion. Other than that it's superb 👌
