I think that thump can just be an exhaust leak from the header nothing mechanical to worry about check your spark plugs make sure they’re not arcing

If it’s got the 4.6 v8 then yes, if not then no.

If they had given it a solid front axle it would have been one of the greatest off roaders ever made but it's still pretty good

My first car will be a 04’ Jeep Liberty, im gonna mod it with a lift and tires, maybe a brush guard and such. However, I’ve heard that lifting these things with big tires can cause LOTS of issues with other components. Also, I can only find 2.5” lifts.

Car makers placed that high and low beam switch on the floor for decades.

I have bought a 2007 Sport 3.7 and I do live in the rust belt. The rear axle is heavily rusted and costly to replaced. So I'm trying to get a garage to grease the whole exterior rear axle to get a few more years out of it. This jeep has only 110k on it and is in decent shape, which I'd like to get 5 more years outta it. The frame is being rust treated next week hopefully to slow down it's rusting. Anyone else know rust slowdown or rust remedies?
