Recorded with host Mary Edgerton for the Award-Winning “So, What’s Your Story?”, a drive time radio show on KPFT, community radio in Houston Texas. Five stories including three stories about a woman's journey in boxing (discovery, becoming a boxing judge and the aging boxer) and two 99 second stories.

Two stories connect around the things we do to get clarity - EST, hot yoga, self-renovation and self-enlightenment. This story format is new, part performance art, all storytelling, featuring a collaboration between Johanne Pelletier (Montreal) and Ronna J Levy (Brooklyn). I went to a new IKEA a few years ago. After walking for what seemed like quite a while, I asked a woman if I was half-way done and, with a tinge of malicious glee in her voice, she said, With THIS section.
Love it! First time I heard a story in this format - seamless! And now I’m off looking for a dumba$$…

Thanks for sharing this with the world. With me in particular. I didn't have that happen. Maybe because I've blown out my ears already.😆 I'm back now... but it took about 3-4 weeks for the world to stop occasionally going into... just slow grey mode. It's scary... thinking of ourselves as fragile. Even when the world shows us... that we are nigh indestructible via self repair... the lingering feeling of... for a second I wasn't.
