I could literally watch these videos all day long. Thank you so much for bringing available to watch. Polka concert in August brings tears to my eyes since that was the beginning of my career in the music business. I truly miss those days...Mikey the little drummer boy!

I would love to comment on such a amazing polka band. Not only was this my favorite polka band but a family to me . I had the opportunity performing with this band from 1979 to 1988. I was 4 yrs old in 1979 when I stepped on the stage to play drums with the Kryger Brothers for the first time. Over 3 decades later I'm still in the music business thanks to the love and teachings of life from the members of the Kryger Brothers Orchestra. Lou , Bruce, Mark, Jimmy , Paul & Frank miss you all! John , thank you for putting on the concert at Irem Temple with Bobby Z because I was the guest drummer at that show.. God bless! Mikey " The Little Drummer Boy"

that concertina with the foil looks very familiar john is that john mikos concertina from lenny gomulka and the Chicago push holy toledo is that wally Dombrowski i remembered i got to watch the drummer play up close behind the stage dave from tbc and hank from polka family took myself back stage and wow!!!!!!! i was in for a treat dave said come here and hank showed me the drummer up close i got to watch the drummer play up close sitting down in a chair back stage wow !!! that was special - Ashley from indiana

It's difficult to find video recordings of _anything_ pertaining to the old Pocono Hershey Resort. My wife and I stayed there twice, in '78 and '80. It was _the_ place to be in that era. Their restaurant-in-the-round was exquisite. I'm not surprised to find that they hosted events like this polka party.

Just found this and LOVED IT! "POLKA FAMILY" a few years ago and BEST is we get to LOVE & ENJOY "MORE" of them today!

I thought that was Joe hiding in back. Didn't recognize Paul. I thought he was one of the horns. They sounded great.

Used to go to the Pocono Hershey Resort circa 1978-1982 or so. They certainly had enough room to accommodate a production like this. Their restaurant-in-the-round offered a spectacular view. One year my wife and I had dinner as we watched lightning flashes all around the resort with at least a 180° field of view.

This old show was always fun to watch I'm just glad that all these shows haven't been taken off all together. At least now we still have the Pennsylvania Polka show to watch every Saturday night at 7 on WVIA channel 4
