Was Grab easy in Hat Yai?
@@teamyummybanana6065 it was easy for me. Quite a lot of available cars
Considering these 35Cs only fly within Asia, it's not too bad for "regional" business class. I understand the level of competition in Asia but for European carriers and this such a short flight, this is more than enough. The furthest this aircraft fly to is probably Shanghai or Seoul and it will be gone by 2026.
It flies to Stockholm once in a while.

It’s not exactly the new business class, since this is the 2nd hand / 3rd hand leased from the lessor as interim solution to expand fleet portfolios. I would just say it’s the temp business class option 😆
Thai Airways has horrible and deeply disrespectful customer service, the worst I have experienced in 40 years of flying. But you only realise the reality when problems arise. If you try to complain about problems caused by Thai such as forced flight changes, long delays, missed connections, etc., they will not give you any solution and you will encounter an attitude of mockery, contempt, arrogance and disinterest. I experienced this on a round trip years ago, and since then I have not traveled on this despicable airline again, nor will I ever do so again.

This aircraft is leased from AerCap, and is initially flown with LATAM Airlines. That's why the seat is different, and also that's why safety demonstration is done manually, since the VDO they have on hand will demonstrate different seat function (such as life vest location ) and will cause confusion.
that's 35C not the newest newest is 35D this 35C doesn't have safety video because they'll use it for short time (35C)
Dont lie to us this isn’t thai airway newest business class. This plane is leased from LATAM so it’s from origin LATAM’s business class. This aircraft wil leaves THAIS fleet by 2026 and is going to edelweiss air.
Thank god, it’s not really THAI’s new aircraft. This seating configuration is quite old-fashioned.
Exactly, no airline Management in their right mind would introduce a new business class without direct aisle access...
Emirates and Turkish does their “new” business class on their 777 is a 2-3-2 it’s their newly introduced on their 777 it’s embarrassing
This plane is only a temporary lease for TG though while they needed the added capacity, it will be out of the fleet in 2 years and only flies medium haul routes at most so its not too bad

Very nice review! The safety demonstration was manually shown due to the safety equipment differences compared to original A350.
Lufthansa has got one of the pretty decent meal onboard

I have done the Butterworth to Bangkok Hua Lamphong and Butterworth - Hua Hin back in in the 90s, when SRT trains can be board in Butterworth. Indeed an experience. I will do it again when I am retired.
The train quality have improved quite a bit now compared to 90s. I'd also like to do more traveling in a non-hurry way when I'm retired :)

Sure. The fares are one-way 1. Bkk to Hatyai 1st class sleeper (lower berth) THB 1,790 2. cross berder train THB 50 3. Padang Besar to KL business class MYR 191

About 1970/73, I travelled Singapore to Bangkok 2nd class sleeper and vice versa several times. No A/C, open windows, great buffet car, could have a beer with meals. A long trip but being young, I enjoyed it immensely.
It must've taken very long to reach Bangkok from Singapore by train at that time! But it sounds enjoyable if we're just slow pace and enjoying the journey 😊
@@zeddlextravels There was a break in Butterworth so it was two or three days all up. The Thai train used to go all the way to Butterworth from Bangkok with customs and immigration still at Pedang Besar and vice versa.

I tried long time ago. But it was from Butterworth, Penang to Bangkok. Never again . The long journey was excruciating and tiring. Not for faint hearted
True even I doubt I would redo the journey again 😅 until there's new faster trains
Nice vid... Back in 2018 I travelled from Hua Lomphong Station to Hatyai Jct to Padang Besar to Kuala Lumpur and proceeded further south on a commuter service to Pulau Sebang/Tampin then to Gemas on a Southern intercity train then from Gemas to my hometown Jerantut Pahang on the ERT train. My total journey was a long and tiring 37hrs, but I enjoyed it.
That does sound tiring! I wish to try going further South of Malaysia to explore more too.

Azuma means 'east' in Japanese. Yes, the trains are Hitachi, but they are manufactured in County Durham by their UK division.

Excellent attempt at trying to bait viewers into thinking this was the big disruption the other day that caused people to be stuck on the line for 4+ hrs. Stopping at a station for a few minutes isn't getting "stuck". Hopefully you can learn a bit more in your travels
Considering the Service Terminated at Paddington I suspect this was recorded pre May 2023.
