Ah the House of Puzzles jigsaws. I'm very familiar with them having done a load of their puzzles over the years. With the 1000 piece one that you did, if you look carefully you realise that the pattern in the lower left quarter is repeated in the top right quarter turned 180 degrees. It can be difficult to work out what an outside piece is at times as some inside pieces can have straight edges. They do Big 250 and Big 500 where the outside is easy to spot but still have the unusual shapes inside.

How was the quality of pieces does it last long?

I may have missed if you ever said but where did you get these puzzles? I have really enjoyed seeing them. Are there any other series such as this one?

Best i can figure is maybe the new work art represents coney island? I believe there is an amusement park there and the art appeared to be some rides to me. I don't live anywhere close to new york though so not totally certain

I love whimsies but I have only done a couple of puzzles with them and they weren’t as good as this Winnie puzzle.

I have done this puzzle. It is Artsy Cats by Mudpuppy. The pictures are left to right. Top row - Yayoi Catsama, Georges Seurcat, Henri Catisse. Middle row - Vincat Van Gogh, Piet Meowdrian, Clawed Monet. Bottom row - Paw Klee, Frida Catlo, Wassily Catdinski. In the same series there is Bookish Cats and Music Cats which I have also done.

I have this puzzle. I love Mike Jupp and have quite a few in the “I Love…” series!

I have seen many of these movies. I love old B horror movies. 1929 Phantom of the Opera is fantastic but it is a silent film. You watch because of great story, big facial expressions and nice make up by Lon Chaney as The Phantom. Just a totally different style of movie. Creature from The Black Lagoon is good. Time Machine, King Kong, so many great old classics. That looks like a fun one.

I admire people who can do puzzles quickly. It takes me so long. I'll leave it out weeks at a time and just work on it sporadically. To me it's just something to do that is relaxing when I have some down time, nothing timed, no pressure, when I get stumped or frustrated I walk away and come back to it later. I know you probably wouldn't call me a real puzzler because of that, and I probably don't either. It's just a little fun thing. But I admire the skill of people who can do them lickity split, or in your case ... blind? wow.

I love your style of video. I watch a lot of puzzler programs and many of them can be an hour or more. I enjoy your short, to the point videos. It's a fun diversion without a whole lot of time investment. Just something quick to kill a little time. I appreciate that.

I have that one in a frame on my wall actually 🙂 I've seen most of the movies (I'm that old!) My favorites are the first Frankenstein (gothic, expressionist cinematography)), King Kong (great old style special effects), The Body Snatcher (love the atmosphere and black and white cinematography), The Incredible Shrinking Man is also memorable (50s special effects and nuclear anxiety). I'm sure that's more info than you wanted 😅, but I'm really fond of that one 💕 well Frankenstein isn't on there, I just realised, I still prefer it to Bride which is the sequel

Ich war letzte Woche auch in Bremen im Ravensburger Outlet. Was für eine gute Auswahl. Bin mit 15 Puzzle raus. Ansonsten wohne ich auch in NRW Nähe Düsseldorf.

As usual you have a large number of puzzles to work through! You always sound so enthusiastic about all the jigsaws you get. Loved the Monkey puzzle from Enjoy. One slight drawback was either the ring light or the window was reflected on the puzzles that still had the shrink wrap on them. Ravensburger have been making their boxes smaller which is good. I bought a couple of the unreleased puzzles from Worlds which were on offer for a short time. 😀

That was a nice, jolly, colourful puzzle. It seems that quite a lot of the 100th Disney Anniversary puzzles are still available to buy. 😀

I almost bought this one on sale but didn’t due to all the blue.

That was a really lovely image. Sometimes you get a puzzle and there is no title for it. I've had that in the past and also ones where the manufacturer is obscure.

Up is my favorite.

I've only done Circle of Colors Flowers. Since it's circular, it's easy to move it around to I don't have to reach across it and accidently move pieces.

That's a good puzzle, with a lot of pink! One I did myself and for me a bit slow going because of all the pink. Minu certainly has big eyes. 👀 Look forward to your next video.

Beautiful puzzel

The only Castorland puzzle I’ve done was a 1500 piece. Wonderful quality but the piece size was smaller, which I actually didn’t mind. I’ve wondered what their smaller count puzzle pieces are like. Are they more of a regular piece size?
