Meagan´s performance is really annoying. She has the terrible habit of starting to overdo in celebrating every element they complete right and then she gets completely out of tone with the song and the perfomance. She just forgets the tone of the program she is doing and start celebrating before it´s time. He doesnt do it, he stays focused until the end, she ruins the performance

This olympic season is the year that was meant for them. I'm rewatching because I'm really happy for them. One of my fave figure skating olympic story this year.

All figure skaters in winter olympics are incredible. For me all of them are winners. Everytime I watch their videos all I can feel is goosebumps. I wish my country support and invest in arts, music and most of all sports.

Really like getting to see "live" video of the skaters. They had a great Olympics.

They were awesome in the Team Event, especially in the short program, where Nathan kind of put them in a tough spot, and they responded with maybe their best short program ever that really lifted the US. I like getting to see this "live" video of them, you can really see what a quality pair they are. They have so much raw athleticism and beautiful elements and are holding their lines more. As others have mentioned, they have a very nice pairs look.

This video shows their nice flow, speed, and quality. My comments are based more on watching the TV version (and I'm being fussy, so don't read unless you care). Artistically they have improved quite a bit and this program is great for them-- they have made several good changes since Worlds-- but every time they make even a subtle change to choreo, they should watch video of it to ensure it's as smooth as it was before. The catchfoot she now does before the second lift-- she doesn't have time to extend it and it doesn't show her off properly. Also the part where her back is turned to him before she turns around to face him when he touches her-- they made a subtle change to it and now it doesn't flow as seamlessly. And it looks like they changed something subtle about the part before the twist where they lift their legs in front to horizontal-- it was well matched before and now her leg is lower. While their PCS were affected by start order (which is wrong but that's a whole different story), there are also little ways they can make this smoother. They both look more comfortable with the jumps since his knee issue, but for next season, I hope they consider a twist/jump/jump layout, or at least don't wait until the fourth element to jump. Their layout right now fits the music, but they do wait relatively late to jump, later than any other pair at the Olympics. The 3T is almost at the 2 min mark, and even though Alexa has gotten a lot more confident with it, it wouldn't hurt to jump a bit earlier.

I absolutely love this team. This wasn’t their absolute best but they’ve improved and have very strong qualities to build on.

Congratulations to Canadian Eric Radford for becoming the first out gay athlete to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics. Radford and his partner, Meagan Duhamel, picked up the gold in the team figure skating event as they performed to Adele’s “Hometown Glory.” Of course, Congratulations are in order for Meagan Duhamel as well without whom this wouldn't have been possible at all.
