Carolina has been dealing with sickness over the past week, with many of the losses with players out sick. Rantanen clearly has a bunch of skill and has set up people amazingly, but with him only being an avalanche player his natural instinct is not the same the Canes would have....Such as Aho dumping a puck around the net to nobody (rantanen should have been there), that said I loved where he was and if Aho instead shot the puck, he was there for the rebound. There are so many things like this. Rantanen when he gets the hang of things will be just as good i suspect. I'm not concerned as a canes fan at all, and to get 7 goals in their last game with rantenen out means he WON'T be carrying the team, but a strong component to aid the current team. We always new Necas would thrive in Colorado. Additionally, that is without even mentioning Hall, who has been more impactful than Drury, even though Drury is talented. Carolina still has injured players, and the roster and lines from the beginning of the season to know has had quite a bit of changes, even so this week drawing more people to play games and a more diverse roster. I see this as the bottom of the floor for Carolina currently, once things get going and stay consistent after the 4 nations I could really see them start going on winning streaks again.

Evason has the Blue Jackets on the same trajectory that he had the Wild on. When he has the locker room, they will play hard and over their talent level during the regular season. They’ll have their bad skids, but likely make the playoffs and lose immediately and badly when the level of play by other teams moves into playoff mode.

The Pens are on par with the Sharks for allowed goals. Over 200 allowed!? Yeah shore up their defense and goal tending and maybe they have a long shot into the playoffs. Great video!

On the newer one the black circular background is bigger making the triangle smaller. The sticks are a different color. Tape job on the sticks on both jerseys are in the shape of Ws which are the initials for Wild Wing. Overall similar jerseys just subtle differences & i think i like the newer one just a little more. The new away jerseys are a way better than the home jerseys.

I like the adidas version especially with the complete nameplate and number kit and was black. The new one is too generic and has white lettering. Kinda boring.

I’ve always liked the way Adidas did the strings near the NHL shield, like shoestrings. I hated the strings hanging out like on the jersey you’re wearing.
