Bought my Toronto Maple Leafs fanatics pro authentic MIC jersey from the Maple Leafs team store website with no problems this past Saturday. I only paid 333 dollars for it with free shipping. The item shipped out today.

I've seen a MIC jersey in person only once and the quality was just unreal. Fans should be grateful about that price point since Adidas did them for $800 + to the thousands.

I assume you are talking about Canadian retail sellers, not fans selling personally-owned Fanatics products on eBay. This makes no sense. I have purchased a jersey from both Hockey Authentic and Cool Hockey. Such a ban would destroy the merchandise revenue streams for the NHL if you cannot buy products between the two countries. And NHL Shop has separate web sites for both countries, too. Adidas did for NHL jerseys. And one of the Canadian retailers I think you were trying to name that do not ship to the United States is Pro Hockey Life.

Just bought a hat from Fanatics… they tried to bait me to their sports book to gamble… I think this is their net goal… 1. Must have account to buy merch 2. Marry the merch account into sports gambling in their site 3. Have a direct siphon from sports fans’ bank accounts directly into their own bank account.

I will be traveling to Pittsburg next week to attend their home opener. Planning to buy a Crosby jersey from their team store. I’ll send you pictures.

I truly hope some law firm will go up against Fanatics and sue them for breaking Antitrust Laws. The whole point of having competition is to naturally stop price gouging based on competition. This Fanatics garbage is the whole reason these laws are in place.

I don't get why it is a big deal. If they are getting profits does it matter. The Canadian dollar is more then the US dollar. So really the US buying from Canada I would think it would cost more due to them being more expensive. It's like you can't buy anything only in your Country?. Come on.

Sounds like Fanatics doesn’t want paying customers to be able to purchase jerseys mostly NHL jerseys at a discount. Forcing customers into purchasing only through their websites. It’s why they don’t want customers to go to SportK or American’s buying from BenH. Only fanatics jerseys i planned on buying this yr are the new Ducks, Utah & Kings home & Away & also the outdoor games. I have all of the teams home away & 3rds from adidas so no reason to buy them in fanatics. There are some businesses in Canada that don’t ship to U.S.. i have emailed them & asked if they’d be able to send me an invoice to be able to pay shipping separately & have been successful that way. One was GameOn Ottawa, Ernie’s Sports Experts. Stores that will not ship to U.S. are Sportchek & Pro Hockey Life. I hate it because there are some hats on Pro Hockey Life i want. I should ask around on Reddit if someone in Canada would allow me to use their address & then paypal them funds to cover the shipping to me.

-The Leafs jersey was essentially the first one in my collection, got it oddly enough from a contest on a cereal box in 1997. I added Sundin 13 to it with that cheap generic shiny lettering which has seen better days, needless to say. -Phoenix I got recently in Pro Player, I think the original neckline was so much better than how Adidas did it. -This version of the Sharks jersey is probably my favorite of theirs, but I also like the one I recently got from Ben.

I also remember in detail that the night after we won, Konstantinov was paralyzed in a wreck… very sad. He still goes to the games to this day

This series was the first Cup in my lifetime. The McCarty goal in game 4 along with the goalie (Ron Hextall/Garth Snow) controversy stand out the most.

I used to put my jerseys in the dryer and never had that problem, but I did turn the jersey inside out before putting it in the dryer.

It's cool how items can just keep memories alive . My first ever Jersey was the Toronto Maple Leafs away Jersey at the time ( Blue with the white leaf) with Felix Potvin #29 on the back.

These noobs must not be fans of other sports. Authentic jerseys in other leagues aren't much cheaper. And there will be sales. Just like the MLB and NFL Shop have authentic uniforms on sale right now.

Started collecting in 1992 as well. First jersey was a black Penguins jersey & 2nd was a blue Islanders. I do not know where those jerseys are. My grandmother seems to think she has them somewhere. I had so many jerseys from middle school through high school throughout the 90s. I did have the white kuchina. I didn’t buy the black one. I have that same maple leafs jersey that you have, but I have Matts Sundin on it. I also have the white and one too. I have that same flyers jersey with Lindros on it. I had several penguins jerseys. I have the original wild wings ducks jersey. I also have that same Ducks 3rd jersey you have. A black Canucks skate logo with Bure when he wore 96. I have both hone & road Dallas Stars jerseys. I have bothe Blue & White Caps screaming eagle jerseys. Both Blue & White Whalers. I am missing a few jerseys, I do not know where or what happened to them. I had a white Fedorov, white Kovalev robo penguins & a white Sabres goathead with Miroslav Satan on it. I can’t find my white Avalanche, Panthers or the red Flames pedal stool jersey either. I stopped collecting in the early 2000’s & when reebok took over i never bought very many. I hated reebok jerseys so much. Started collecting again when Adidas took over & i’m at about 500 jerseys now.

I can buy a brand new driver for the price of that Made in Canada… I’d love one but I’m just middle class.

Hey , how does a large pro player vintage jersey fit ? How does it compare to a large koho jersey?

Authentic Pro is only available for home jerseys. I don’t think Utah will even be available… in any type.

I don’t see the point of retail practice jerseys. They are still not what players wear, but unclear if they are being marketed this way. Reebok last sold these practice replicas.

I will eventually get my hands on the Fanatics Authentic Pro Canucks jersey and add it to my other 4 Made in Canada/MiC collection. Then call it a day for a few seasons again.

They are flipping out because they don't know it the actual on-ice jersey. They also think that the Adidas made in Indonesian "authentic" was the same as the on-ice jersey. IT'S NOT. A lot of the hate for the Fanatics Authentic Pro are from the people who don't know what it really is and are new to the jersey game. Give it time and that will change. It's nice that it's being offered now again at the retail level. Some teams were offering it at their respectable team stores during the Adidas program but not all teams had that option for the Made in Canada. Happy shopping everyone.

That’s fairly reasonable for a Canadian authentic jersey that’s market value for collector jerseys

Mr. Larry how are you Sir? Love watching your content. Just wanted to let you know as someone who use to work for Ocean Hockey Supply. Prior to Reebok taking over the jersey business Reebok bought out CCM ( Canadian Cycles and Motors). Much of the players hockey equipment was very similar between Reebok and CCM equipment Just with different branding much like we seen with Koho and CCM. I believe at the time Koho fell off as Reebok was buying out CCM.

I own about 24 MIC Adidas NHL jerseys and they are 5 times better in look and material than the retail jerseys. Not everyone can be pleased.

Hoping so, I may get it lettered up later this fall

Love the Stanley Cup patch on your jersey

The prices were released like you said months and months ago. We all knew how expensive they were going to be. My question is , has being a Hockey Fan ever been cheap ? The prices are only going to go up.

That is certainly a choice putting a 2024 patch on a '90s jersey. I just couldn't do that. It feels so wrong. Why didn't you put a 1996 Stanley Cup Finals patch on it?

I am old and have on ice CCM jerseys, made in Canada, from over 30+ years ago. There is sticker shock for me as I paid no more than 180 for any of these. Then again that was over 30 years ago. Good luck to the newer fans! great video and love the channel!

I think the people who are complaining about it, are the one’s who aren’t into jersey’s/jersey collecting. I’m all about it and was not sticker shocked at all when I saw the retail price for the MIC. Then again, I’m a jersey guy/collector who’s all about getting the real deal and paid attention to the news surrounding it. Most people do not do this because they’re not jersey people. That being said: I’m a Wings fan - I can buy an MIC team issue jersey directly from the Red Wings organization at minimum between $250-300. Granted I wouldn’t wear it, as the smallest size they make for the players is a 56. However, having the option to buy an MIC at retail, for a size that would fit me, is awesome. The quality on the MIC’s is just amazing.
