I used about a #66 drill bit on the lamps, headlights and running boards and then use 0402 LED's to light them. These LED's are extremely small. I use TCS 1517 decoders to operate the lights. It appears that the screw drive shaft is not perfectly straight. Bought this plane at a show. Hopefully, I can straighten the shafts.

I noticed the same thing. The detail/work on the backdrops is outstandingly well done.
