I was scammed too. One company I backed came through and another is giving refunds as I type. This is incredibly disappointing as this is the most expensive product I backed. I’m in on a lawsuit!

I found the scamming Son of A Bitches!! The CEO and the Engineer. Who’s in with me to press charges and have at least the CEO ARRESTED FOR FRAUD?!? If we can’t get him arrested we can file a class action lawsuit to bankrupt him. Drop your email in the comments and I will get a group email started. Let’s do this! HINT: The company is not called MakerBliss!!!

I was totally scammed also for 2 machines.

I am luck that my bank sided with me in the dispute and I got my money back. First and last time I ever back a Kickstarter project.

I am just know that the payment for the shipping cost is put back on my creditcard. Unfortunaly not the payment for the machine.

I've funded a number of projects on Kickstarter, always had a good experience until this one, guess that was the last for me. I had no idea Kickstarter was a breeding ground for scammers. I've learned so much about them since this has happened to me. Their help section definitely shows they don't care about the people funding events. I will never back any company on that or any other online platform, I will also warn everyone I know. Really pissed I am out of those funds. I also reported MakerBliss and Kickstart to the BBB.

Also scammed. And now fighting with kickstarter to get my money back. I paid for 2 machines that never materialized

Total SCAM! Sent multiple msgs from Kickstarter and the campaign owner. No response from either. Tried to get a refund from. my bank which was denied. I understand if a campaign fails due to unforeseen circumstances, but this campaign owner went TOTALLY DARK on us. No updates or communication.

I was a backer for the machine plus accessories and was scammed as well! Unlucky for me my bank didn’t get my money refunded either!

Maybe we can hire a no pay no cure lawyer with a group of people?

I reported them to Kickstarter and got the same response. I did fill out their project form but have had no response.

😲 it's really a scam. I was wondering why I didn't receive my maker yet. I pledge another item after this and that I already receive and they kept every body updated about the steps. But now I'm going file a refund at my credicard company and hope to get it back 😡😡😡 are there legal action possible I live in the Netherlands so not familiar with USA laws

Hi, I got my shipping back to day from my credit union debit card. The Chase is still a tentative refund. I hope everyone can get a refund/ charge back.

I was scammed as well. Our bank won't give us our money back.

Hi all, I have finally got my money back from my bank (Barclays in UK) and my case has been closed! My advice is push back if it is refused by your bank, go with the vital information that you wish to claim back as it was a scam right from the start, rather than about the non receipt of the machine. My letter from the bank confirms Kickstarter have returned the funds and Kickstarter have removed me as a backer on the website!!

Does anyone know what the charges showed up under (name-wise) so I can dispute?

Hello! I too feel duped and defrauded!! I'm currently dealing with the residuals of Stage 3B Breast Cancer and was wanting a nice distraction from the everyday mundane way of life. Arts & crafts have always been some part of my life ,I was sooooo looking forward to adding this machine to my crafting family.needless to say I'm on a fixed income and could not afford this loss! God sits high and looks low,he will fight this battle on my behalf and these creators will reap what they've sown. 😘

More so then each individual scammer, Kickstarter is the overarching scammer who has taken millions through crooked revenue. When a scammer uses kickstarter, Kickstarter takes some of the money the scammer gets and pockets it before the scammer gets their share. With this revenue, it uses legal advice to protect the scammer and itsself from having to pay one single cent back. 😢Kickstarter has systems set up to protect scammers. Not the people who invest. I wish more people knew. I wish we knew.

I’m a backer as well. Couldn’t get my funding or shipping back either. Ended up ordering myself the HTVRONT one as well LOVE IT. To bad this one wasn’t delivered on. 😢😢😢

I can't comment on the kickstarter page because I am no longer a baker, but my chargebacks (both for the machine and the shopping) have been approved by my Chase Amazon card. So, fortunately I am not out any money - I just learned a valuable lesson, that kickstarter sucks and can't be trusted! If someone can please post over there that there is hope for the chargebacks, depending on your credit card company, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I got my money back

The whole Kickstarter platform is becoming a scam. And as usual Kickstarter will put their hand up and do nothing - similar to other times. Once my current projects are done I am closing my account kicking Kickstarter to the curb. Pun intended.

I am a backer in limbo and at a loss as well. I'd like to know more about that guy who they claimed is a Co-founder. He is a marketing guy who has a marketing company. His fb shows how he looks for gigs like the one he landed. He KNEW they were calling him a co-founder. This sickens me, like I know it sickens you. The timing is horrible too cause my Debit card company is not responding to me due to the amount of time that has past. I had one successful kickstarter project the HTVRont auto press., and I haven't used it much and now it is having heating issues. Never again will I ever support anything on Kickstarter. I feel your pain.

It's a shame they scammed so many of us and Kickstarter is no better. I understand it's a risk but there should be some legal recourse or anybody can do anything on Kickstarter if there are no fail-safes in place. Never deal with either of these ruthless companies again. It was my first time dealing with Kickstarter and my last. Shame
