it’s so important that people highlight the fact that missing schoolwork is typically not because of laziness. children and teens and even adults in uni or college experience this feeling, whether it be depression or simple burnout. so thankful for this video 🙏|-/

as someone who just ended second year of uni, i felt that. i was so stressed so much i honestly thought that i wouldn't make it. there were thoughts that i might drop out of uni before i graduate. the university experience is so tiring for me.

First off, this edit was made to show how negative stress/depression can easily ruin someone's motivation, as it did for me. It wasn't made to complain about my grades, it was made to show what it might be like for other teenagers who are experiencing the same thing. Secondly, don't come in here to "flex" how good your grades are. Not everybody will be at the same level as you, or have the same amount of motivation to work, so shaming others to lift yourself higher is just lowkey embarrassing. Lastly, if you are struggling with a lack of motivation like I did then that's okay. School can be stressful, but I think you should just think of the positive things about it and motivate yourself with those. That's what helped me. And if things ever get too bad there's always someone you can talk to, counselers at school, or therapists, or a trusted adult. ❤
