For clarity, Nevada does require 120 hours of pre-licensing education, which includes 45 hours in Real Estate Principles, 45 hours in Real Estate Law (with at least 18 hours specific to Nevada law), 15 hours in Contracts, and 15 hours in Agency. You are correct, @madisonjacques5734. Thank you for pointing this out - it will be corrected in a soon coming update. So, when appraisers want to figure out how much a house is worth, one of the ways they do it is by comparing it to similar houses that have recently sold. This is called the Sales Comparison Approach. It's basically like saying, 'Hey, if someone paid this much for a house like this down the street, then this house here should be worth about the same.

Thank you @Matthew715. You are correct. In New Jersey, real estate licensees are required to complete continuing education (CE) as part of the license renewal process. Here are the key requirements: Total CE Hours: 12 credit hours of continuing education every two years. Mandatory Topics: At least 2 hours must be on ethics. At least 1 hour must cover the New Jersey Fair Housing Act, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, or topics related to equal opportunity in housing. Elective Topics: The remaining credit hours can be taken in elective courses approved by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission (NJREC). Deadline: The continuing education must be completed by April 30th of the renewal year to avoid a late fee. The renewal deadline is June 30th, but completing CE after April 30th incurs a $200 processing fee. Failing to meet these requirements can prevent the renewal of a real estate license.
