Your review refreshed my feelings on the book without needing to re-read it. Although, I do think re-reading this one could be worth the time. ❤

Just finished The Women this morning and almost immediately came to RUclips to search up videos about it. Yours came up. Frankie's story broke me in to a million pieces and then put me back together again. I loved this book so much. My only gripe was that I felt it dragged a bit in the 2nd half, but I'm not sure that the story would have been as poignant without everything. We really needed to understand and be there with Frankie through all her decisions. And as someone who has firsthand knowledge of alcohol addiction (brother) everything she experienced is true. I listened to this on Audible and I thought the narration was so well done.

It was so satisfying to watch Mr. Panda become shinier and the white spots become whiter! That was so nice of you to restore him for your husband. I think you should always do your book review videos in the yellow chair with bear now!

I’m going to have to come back to this since there are spoilers but I wanted to recommend Kristan Hannah’s Firefly Lane which was a 5 star for me and I’m stingy with my 5 stars! One of the only books I’ve read where I truly SOBBED. Since I read it in 2010, I actively try to avoid books that will make me cry like that!

That Wendy Cope poetry was super intriguing! It’s been hard for me to find poetry I like and then when I think I might have found something of course my library doesn’t have it!

Neat. My sister made a daybed out of my Mom’s metal twin bed and she used larger pillows on the back and put an afghan over the end of it like you did. Made a nice addition in her office.

Keep going with RUclips and I have a feeling that wonderful things will happen. It may not be a large audience (that's hard) but the personal expression alone will definitely be worth it. I want to start a RUclips channel but don't have the courage yet, alas! I think the desire alone is reason enough to do it, because most people have no interest in this type of hobby. Wanting to do it already means that you should!

Hi Sarah, I really enjoyed your video. I recommend The Artist's Way by Julua Cameron for creativity as it gives you tasks and you can read a chapter a week and spread it out. I read it with a group during lockdown and it really helped to keep motivated and creating. For a more diverse read I recommend The Vanishing half by Brit Bennett and Cemetery boys by Aiden Thomas. They are very different books but both have trans characters in them. The Vanishing half is possibly one of my favourite books inspired in part by Passing by Nella Larsen (a classic from the Harlem Renaissance).
