The fact that Matthew was hanging with Joseph Gordon-Levitt when this happened is mind-blowing. The story that he actually messed up his knee while in a dance battle is hilarious enough, but having JGL of all people (one of my favorite actors) be there and act as the voice of reason (''I think we should go to the emergency room'') is just... amazing.

Good they have a video recording of how Matthew completely screwed his knee. He busted his knee while dancing, and proceeded to go to a bar and got drunk more and then because obviously it wasn't just a sprain then he went to ER. The fact that his knee was so screwed up that it needed extensive surgical correction and doctors wasn't even sure that he'd ever be able to walk on that, had them doubted that what he did was dancing. Such a crazy guy. That's a part of his charm.

I dislocated and broke my knee at school, was rushed to the er, and had to be in a wheelchair but this man really just went to another bar 🥲😂 I mean I was also being dramatic bc i was on my period lmao, but that shiz hurt and recovery was terrible so i give props to him bc he still worked after, and i couldn’t go back into school for months (i’m also just a very weak human so)

Something similar happened when i broke my collar bone, we were too busy goofing over the bone sticking up but not breaking through my skin to get to the ER lmao. I remember laughing the whole ride there because I broke it by falling and landing on my shoulder and I thought it was dumb. I was in more pain when they set the bone than when I broke it, that part sucked the worst

i read that this happened on wikipedia, at first i laughed because of how random it was, but i remembered that it was matthew who it happened to so it wasn’t that much of a surprise. also he must have such a high pain tolerance in order to just laugh and go to another bar before even thinking of going to the hospital.
