    Just saw you on "TheGuy Who Sews". I started sewing on the kitchen table. I now have the family room down stairs..Just need to get organized. Not pretty.

      @@jeanniestaley2685 I am so excited for you! I hope you love it. And no, the glue does not make your needle sticky at all. It dries super fast and I have never had any issue with it.

    Received my box last week. Did not realize it was paper piecing , but I love to do paper piecing, it gives you perfect blocks. Watched Kimberly Jolly show how to cut and get organized . Plan to start some time next week. Just found your channel! Great job!

    Got mine few days ago too. I fell in love with the quilt mos ago but had no idea it was foundation paper piecing. Lol Now I am scrambling to watch tutorials & trying to learn but seems confusing. I recently started EPP from watching u-tube BUT this seems complicated. Scared to cut it wrong so look forward to watching your progress. There’s no turning back now 🤞

      @@kwilterkris omg I finally got it! Cut 4 of the 1st set of log cabin “Apple Block”, stitched 1 block 1st to get the hang of it & then did the remaining 3. On to the next 4 tomorrow. Really enjoyed learning something new. 👍

    I’m drooling over this. I was wondering how many blocks total are made for this quilt? Does it say in the pattern? 💜🧵

      Right! I just love the colors. After you asked this question, I went thru the pattern book and counted. There are about 20 blocks a month, some with more and some less over 8 months. If I did my math right, about 148 blocks.

      I just received my block as well. I have never done foundation paper piecing but loved the quilt but now I am scared to death to start. I h/b watching tutorials but it seems confusing especially when cutting. 😫

    Those blocks are so cute! If I didn’t have so many WIP’s I’d join you in sewing those! Where did you get those alphabet letters to label your pieces? I really like those!

      Thank you so much! Right!, I have so many wips too. Hahaha. The alphabet letters I bought at fatquartershop.com But I think Amazon has them as well. Also, sometimes my college age daughter cuts out items for me and she labels post it notes for me with the alphabet and it works well.

    I love these Lori Holt labels! I’ve never seen them before! Thank you! When I took my quilting class they taught us to iron the label onto butcher paper before we wrote on it. It stabilized the fabric. Thanks again!

      @@Dranma51 I am so glad you like them. I found them a few years ago at a quilt shop. Etsy might have some, but I haven’t looked. I hadn’t heard about using butcher paper, I like the heat n bond because it holds it on while I sew it. Thank you sew much for watching!

    You found some fun stuff there. We were in Colonial Williamsburg last weekend. We usually go at least once a year with our exchange students. Its really nice around the holidays too.

      I love Colonial Williamsburg, it is one of my favorite places! My youngest daughter and I have annual passes and go as often as we can. I haven't been during the holidays, but I bet its beautiful! And exchange students sounds like a fun adventure at Colonial Williamsburg and for life in general

    Thank you for this video! Very reassuring and beginner friendly. I am into sewing already but whenever I looked into quilting it always seemed very complex and like I had to use higher end and more expensive options when I didn't even know if it was something I was into. Just hearing using the cheaper options is totally fine makes me feel a lot more confident!
