Angie Dickinson gave me my first chubby when she was the roast-e.
what yr was this in?
… and tonight, guess what… of the whole stage of celebrities, five still remain alive. (79) Gabe Kaplan; (80) Tony Orlando; (81) Joe Namath; (86) Rich Little; (93) Angie Dickinson; Of the deceased celebrities, may they RIP.
Fantastic the laughs are beyond FANTASTIC the best ROAST Ever DONE
Fantastic the laughs are beyond FANTASTIC
when comedy was comedy and people were proud to see it
God , I would give my right arm to see some off camera between Don and Dean , or any of the people on the stage , such views have gone for ever , just not allowed / thought about in that age ! Pity !
Don Rickled trying to do a black accent😮, glaf Ali pointed it out😅
These were the last and final true Hollywood legends. Never we will have such legends. Today’s Hollywood actors are a joke.
What a great lineup! 😂👏 😂👏 😂👏
In 2024, the Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts still brings so much laughter and joy to many. What a Show! Subscribed, and Thank you for the full episode.
the point of this video is that if you can not laugh at yourself, you are wound WAAAY to tight
Is it me or is Dean Martin almost completely in the bag?
May they ALL RIP Classy, funny without having to resort to cursing or crudeness. How I wish they were back. They made us laugh then & are still making us laugh today. Today's youth will never know what REAL talent & class is.
Paul Lynde was a total a** but he was a friend. I liked that square.

It's 2024 and still watching Hollywoods Legendary comedians.
Don Rickles. When THAT guy left us, I cried real tears.
I grew up with a roasts of Dean Martin I love them I'm so glad that I can watch it again. It's so much fun😊
"They are all flat now"
Dean Martin was almost as cool as the great Robert Mitchum.
And they were all part of the same hypocrisy
I like this except for the frequent put-downs of women and the lack of more women and black people. The anti-wife jokes I thought were gone in the 70s.
What a difference in decades. A TV show where the public enjoys middle-age entertainers. Today it's hard to see anyone over 30 years old.
Just as funny today as then, no more funny today. We dont have the talent today that these guys had.
I grew up watching these shows they are five star shows.
STUDS! Classic gentlemen!
I love watching these roasts. I am always sorry when the show is over. Can’t say that about the TV shows of today.
these guys just slay me !!!!!!! man I miss this era
But where was Sammy Davis Jr and Frank Sinatra.. don’t tell me they passed away when Dean Martin roast was held..
This is the America that I grw up in. So many great in the entertainment busines back then. Hollywood had mastered story telling then. They could blend serious dialog with comedy in qa fine weave..Hollywood has lost that talent. I feel privileged to have lived in this era of our country. The hollywood with so many great actorss and actressess. Actually had an actor wjho was the same personality off screen as on and became the face of America. There's a saying about America. Gaseball, Apple Pie and Mom. IIn those dayss it wasw Baseball, Apple Pie, Mon and John Wayne. Back then when people not just in this country but around the world thought of Americawa John Wayne came to mind. He was my idol. We had great music back then too. In all the history of thiw planet I was privileged to live in the era of Rock n Roll. We had a decent, respectful king og Rock n Roll them Elvis Presley. EElvis Presley had his driver take him to the White Houseone day unannouced and without invitation to talk to the President Richard Nixon. When the guard at the gate informed Nixon that Elvis Presley was at the gate asking to see him Nixon ordered the guard to let him . That's what kind of clout Elvis had. Let Snoop Dog try that and see how far it gets him!
I have laughed so much my side is hurting I miss these kind of shows
Only man of the hour?
i was born in 75,,, and i just had the best time in a long, long time with the guys i remember watching with my Dad, whom im proud to say is also still with us. the comradery amongst these character's with politicians wishes me to see them all in heaven one day.. im 49 now and know i cannot say the same for today's politicians.. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO MADE AMERICA GREAT
44:48 this guy was actually pretty funny and go figure a Democrat… remember that 2024… now let’s get real to everybody on that day is alive and gone. I love and respect each and everyone of you and miss you all dearly. everyone of these people were a big part of my childhood. I’m only 54 and a lot of them been long gone, but I’m educated hip and in tune with that error.
Brilliant.
holy mother of god; i can't believe the level of celebrity here; all these stars from my childhood.
Absolutely love the great Mr Orson Wells' brilliant "on-target/on-point" delicate ROAST!!😂❤😅Dean certainly got zinked HARD!!! SLOWLY FINELY DELICATELY ROASTED TO A CRISPS!! Definitely Well deserved... Full of warmth & grace!!😂 to all current day so-called "comedians": TAKE POINT!!! THIS IS WHAT COMEDY SHOULD BE!! DELICATELY-AGED FINE WINE(PUNS DULY INTENDED)!!
Glad Jerry didn't show, probably wasn't invited 😄
my god how many jews were in that line up - disgusting
I love Bob hope
Those were the Days ❤
I don’t think anyone took offense to any of this.
Foster broock fantastic 👏👏👏
More talent on that stage then in all of hollywood today!
Rickles listened carefully to everyone I guess... "You have no lines just nod " something he used decades later with Julia Roberts.
I remember these. This was an era where people who were famous and the people who watched did not get bent out of shape, when they were being kidded. Today people get all nuts for stupid reasons its too bad.
