She was there three days and she passed in her sleep and Larry found her the next morning. The part about him having to perform that evening is true. P83, Shut That Door.

I've watched many videos of Larry on YT and read through the comments, and no-one has had a bad word to say about him. Sad that this was his last performance. RIP Larry.

I'm sure as he's coming off (oo-er) stage it dawns on him that it's probably his last time in front of an audience. God Bless you Larry. You were so loved. A gentle, funny soul. RIP.

What an amazing guy, Total class, incredibly funny, and talented beyond belief. We don't have anyone like him these days I'm afraid, which is why I don't watch TV anymore.

I hope wherever he is, he can read these comments and realise how loved he was and still is. He left us 34 days after this performance❤

Back in 1972 I was a sixteen year old boy holidaying in Scotland and staying with friends in Hamilton. I fished for a while in the reservoir but never caught anything. We had a small boat on which we fished from and watching this footage brought back happy memories from over half a century ago. It has hardly changed in all that time.Thank you.

What a superstar! He made me laugh all through my childhood. The whole family would be in hysterics watching him perform! A lovely, lovely human being!!!

great video. somewhere deep deep in my list of things i enjoy the hell out of at times in spite of myself is: watching a documentary on someone who is already dead whom i have no knowledge of whatsoever. it's like a punch in the testicles i missed out on in junior high school because i was home with diarrhea that day. and a new store opens up in my village here which offers punches to the balls so, inexplicably, here i am. i watched the first second then i says to myself i says: hey self, uh, lets go in the kitchen after we get done typing this sentence and get some of that pumpkin pie from yesterday and see if theres any chocolate milk fluid in the cupboards, because i know theres plenty of milk.

Larry was the total professional to the end. Total gentle genius. Sadly missed. Love and peace.
