Okay guys I might be late to the party but it was my first time watching all the films in 2023 . I also studied film and graduated and now a few years back and now I’m working in film and Tv I’ve worked with incredible Oscar winning directors, and been part of number 1 leading UK Netflix shows. so I tend to look at film with a very intense eye. As if I’m in the writers room again I have a few question to all die hard twilight fans I hope you guys could help answer , why or what makes twilight so good and if there were to be a remaster in todays day and age do you think it’ll have the same effect it did back when it was in its prime ? I’m genuinely curious to know why twilight was such a blockbuster hit . There are certain elements I understand and I get but I still struggle to fully understand the influence twilight had on people at its time or the effects it has on its fans. Like from a writing standpoint and a three act structure I don’t feel like twilight fulfills or does much justice from a film theory perspective. I just don’t understand how something with such a mid story had such a huge impact in the film world. Like undeniable twilight pushed the bar for films but how and why is my question. At this point is it just nostalgia the films brings to its loyal fans or is it still gaining fans of the saga to this day And last question I might of mentioned it earlier but just to echo it again in this year 2023 or 2024 do you feel like a twilight reboot could work with all new actors playing the roles of Edward Bella and Jacob or is it the actors we fall in love with through the franchise and therefore attempting a reboot wouldn’t work . Or perhaps in this generation they don’t care for the vampire and werewolf fantasy world like we used to back in the day
