    Great info! What does “down canyon only” mean?

    • @Sojourn.Expedition
      @Sojourn.Expedition 18 дней назад

      Great question! Down Canyon Only means the shuttle only stops on its way out of the canyon, not on the way into the canyon. So shuttles only stop at stops 2,3 and 8 on their way out of the canyon.

    I wonder how things will change when the east side visitor center opens. also rip weeping rock/hidden canyon :(

    • @Sojourn.Expedition
      @Sojourn.Expedition 21 день назад

      Hidden Canyon and Weeping Rock were big losses. I feel like it just pushes traffic to other parts of the canyon, so the crowds feel bigger. Who knows how the East Zion Visitor Center will affect everything? But I went by it last week and it looked like they still had a long way to go. LOL

  • @primarytrainer1
    @primarytrainer1 22 дня назад

    don't forget to let people know that they should expect to pay $35-45 for parking per day if they aren't staying in town OR they came in too late to get parking at the visitor center. I live here and this year it was crazy during the entirety of December. I've never seen it this busy (maybe because it's been so warm?) best to stay at a hotel on the main road and ride the shuttle, e-bike, or walk where you need to

    This is a phenomenal guide to the Cathedral Valley Loop - thank you! Heading out to the Four Corners in May/June from TN for several weeks. Two days and one night on the CVL. The night is a Monday. Any guess as to what my chances would be to grab one of those 6 sites? Thanks for the kind words! The Cathedral Valley Campground can be hit and miss, but the park is surrounded by BLM land so you can pop up shop. Also, fish lake has a lot of dispersed camping, so that’s a good option too!
