    How would you build a separate flow to essentially run this same flow on already existing records, either all past records, or everything from say, January 1st of last year through the day before you activated this flow? I used this for making a field to quick glance at data on a reporting level, and I need some amount of previous data to look over in addition to anything created moving forward, but I don't want to have to go click edit and save on a bunch of records in order to trigger this on those old records.

    Hello, I'm facing a problem here. I don't want the ThreadID showing in the Subject and the Body of the email. Problem is that if I disable both, when I try to reply to the thread, a new case is created every time. Is there a way to "hide" that ThreadID string? Maybe trough CSS? Thanks.

    I found another way: 1) Create a Text Variable 2) Make the default value {Record.field}; 2a) the main thing you need is the ";" at the end of the {Record.field} --> that's really all the loop is doing

    How do you handle duplicate values? For example, if the related quotes had two line items with the same value, your string has the picklist value listed twice. This can get ugly. My use case is a group listed on a product. The group is the multi-select on the Opportunity. I only want to have the group listed once, but if they sell multiple products, they are list again and again for each product. Is there a way to remove duplicate values from your string?

      Here’s what you would do, based on the flow in the video. First you’ll add a decision element before the assignment in the look. Create an outcome on the decision that compares the text variable he created (that currently has the multiselect value) and see if it contains the current value in the loop. So: text variable contains Product Name If this outcome evaluates to true, send it back to the loop. If the name is not found, then send it to the assignment for the variable.

    When you launch the Attendance item from the app launcher, the details that are displayed are of print view of attendance tracker. So if you click on any service session record and click on the printable view for attendance, this information is seen on the attendance item under app launcher, which in your case was taking forever for the page to load. On the same topic, we are seeing an issue where When a client is added to a service session mid-way though the sessions, the client gets added to the already completed sessions? This shouldn't be the case and client should be added ONLY to those sessions that they are enrolled in. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround? Please advice!

    I am new to flows and trying to wrap my head around it! I have this below requirement, how can I get this done in Flows? Build a flow that updates all related opportunities when an Account's AnnualRevenue field is modified. All child opportunity Amount fields should be set to the Account’s AnnualRevenue amount, and set the opportunity Stage to a Pipeline forecast category The only problem I am having is with setting the opportunity stage to a Pipeline forecast category.... Can you help!

    Hey, thanks for the video. I’m pretty sure you don’t need all of this, though? Your Flow seems to update all Contacts phone fields anytime the Account is updated. Perhaps it would be more efficient to only update them when the Account’s phone value changed? For this, it would be beneficial to call on this Flow from a Process Builder than to just use a record triggered flow. Also, a Process Builder could’ve just been used to update all related Contacts whenever the Account’s number was changed. As far as the Flow itself is concerned, you could’ve just used a Get Records element and then updated that collection with an Update Records element. No need for a loop and any assignment elements. Just food for thought. Thanks again, for the video!

      HI Robert Kokas, If you want to call the flow to execute when account phone number is changed then take a decision box and set the condition like account phone number was set true and then join the node .It will work .No need to execute the from the process builder. The was set function works similar to is changed in process builder.

    This is great addition, but I am having trouble figuring out how to use it to create child records. My business case is there is an event, at the event there are speakers, the speakers are paid. So when that event passes a specific stage, I want it to look up speakers, and create a transaction to get them paid, in an object called award. So far not finding out how to use the new features to create child records from a parent

    very cool. We use many of the same objects (accounting seed and such) as well as composer. I wouldn't have thought to put the table tags outside the box itself, thats slick. I actually found your channel by looking for something around updating a record via flow and then stumbled on this one. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
