Good chootin! 🤠👍
Hi thank you for the video ...for guys who want to change their screen ..please do not remove the original screen from outside since you are gonna damage exterior casing ...open carrefully the full unit remove the mother board and acesss confortbly the screen and push it from inside thank you 🎉
What weight bullet did you take it with?
Great job!
That rifle looks like a Remington 788
Dang. I read every comment. There are many commenters that are a.) salesmen from companies that produce .243 caliber rifles, b.) geniuses in the ballistics and all forms of projectile engineering, c.) experienced proponents of larger caliber rifles, d.) antelope bounty hunters, or e.) completely full of doo doo (forgive my harsh language).
Beautiful shot. Beautiful Pronghorn. A few years have passed, but I would bet this young lady can recall everything from that day!!
So Simple, and super effective.Thanks.
I did 2 Antelop hunts in Oregon long ago. I used a 7 mm Rem mag first time then pole hammered a buck to 200 yards. Next hunt a 300 Wby mag was used on a doe permit I hammered a doe at 300 yards causing death where it stood. The Barns 7mm TSX 160 grain and the Barns 30 cal tsx 180 grain made zero damage loss of meat with less that quarter sized exit hole and bullet sized entry holes.
The first shot killed him. You might want to take a look at the construction of your bullet or maybe consider moving up to .243.
Good Job!!!!!! The 22/250 works if the shooter does their part.
I'm glad she didn't shoot when the buck was skylined. That would have been an unethical shot because she could not see what was over the horizon. The second shot was money and he very likely would have dropped very soon without the third shot. Also, none of my hunting buddies wear that color nail polish. Just sayin'
That was simply NOT ethical hunting, not near enough rifle to kill quickly and humanly in my opinion.
Hell yeah baby! Might as well say you got 3 cause every shot was good. 👍🏻👍🏻👌😉
Ata girl
Sweet!!
Fantastic. I am going to a convenience store pick up some ice.
Don't give up on removing that valve. The first time is very difficult. Thanks for the comment!
As good of a shot as she is, she could do head shots.
Have you had any O ring leaking problems through the years by doing this. I'm concerned about the O rings getting brittle or developing a crack due to the super low temperature. In this case I could buy a replacement designed for these temps. Has the one installed with the sodastream cylinder worked fine?
The orings should be made for that temperature. When refilling with liquid co2 the tanks also freeze. For safety turn one in every once in a while.
I could NEVER EVER hunt with this guy. He just Won't shut up.
It's always the people who have never shot an antelope or deer with a 22-250 that complain.
I realize a 22-250 will kill a pronghorn as evidence by this video. However, 257, 270, and 280 class bullets in the 120, 130 and 140 grain range are better at bucking the ever present prairie wind. Best of luck in the field.
I'm surprised it didn't flop on that second shot!
Yeah me too. I shot a small antelope this year with a 243 95 grain Superformance and it kind of had the same result.
What about the fact that not all dry ice is food grade and may not be safe for consumption?
Oh my god. Bye Felicia!
This isnt worth it just buy bottled soda it doesnt save much. Also get rid of the goofy music
That tank will make many "bottles of soda" for a buck.
@@stetkal maybe you didnt figure in the cost of that syrup they sell, plus the bottles have to be replaced every now and then. Your not saving anything especially if your buying more tanks.
@@RadioRich100 I only drink bubbled water. It's the way to go I promise.
if you have to take 2 shots you should not be hunting
With a comment like that you shouldn't be commenting!
I did it and it works but it only lasted about a week, not a big deal, I can get dry ice for $1.68 a pound, What a racket, I bought one, the bottle that came with it lasted barley a week, 30 friggen dollars for a replacement, I was so pissed when I found out dry ice is a buck and a half a pound, although I will admit the bottles are well made, w/ quality brass fittings. Why don't they have some kind of exchange program, those bottles should last years.
They do have a exchange program in the U.S of A. It's just more expensive than the dry ice.
Video content great music choice sucked
NOT BAD
Getting one more night with the ex before you marry
YOu better hope you seal that thing right, because if it isn't sealed, it's going to leak out and evacuate the oxygen from the area.
Hmmm. Well The Second Shot was beautiful. more like that one and you're set. Once they are hit and its a good hit, be patient and don't spook the animals. They will go down.
Congratulations on a great hunt, and good shooting. You did well with the 22-250 but you might think about moving to a 243 or bigger. With proper bullets I am sure you will see noticeably better terminal performance on the antelope. But I have to admit, you did a fantastic job, showing restraint, picking your shot and placing your shot well. Congratulations.
Thank you for the polite comment. The 22-250 was only used on this big game hunt. This antelope hunt was for both of us a first. And a great learning experience. Happy hunting!
Congratulations on your very first hunt. I hope you get to enjoy many, many more. Many of us have at one time or another, hunted using whatever we could get our hands on. I started hunting with a 1917 Enfield that originally belonged to my uncle. My dad borrowed it for me to use. It is chambered for the 30-06, was the rifle my dad started hunting big game with as a boy. It was originally a military rifle built for use in the first world war. It was approximately 65 years old when I started using it, it is presently @ 100 years old and I still have it. I have been fortunate enough to be able to use many different rifles and calibers in my lifetime and have many fond memories. I hope you can build many good memories of fine times in the outdoors hunting with family and friends, and can eventually pass the tradition down to your children. But in the meantime, I think you need a new rifle to start your new hunting life. Depending on what you hope to hunt, there are a number of standards that will serve you well. For deer/antelope size game, if you don't like recoil much, a 243 or 7mm-08 will serve you admirably. If you hope to go to bigger game like elk and moose also, a 308, 270, or 30-06 will handle your needs just fine. These are the standard, most common and proved cartridges, successfully being used for all manner of game for 50 to 100 years. They are plentiful, usually easy to get ammo for and fairly economical. Then there are many, many other calibers available for your consideration. Do a bit of research and find what suits you best. I have a 30-06 Winchester rifle I have used very happily on many hunts. I wish I had a son or someone else who enjoyed and appreciated hunting in all its aspects as much as I have. I would love to pass that rifle on to them to help them in their new adventures, to get started with a good rifle that includes a history they could maybe appreciate too. Good luck with your future, you had a fine antelope hunt there and performed as true sportsmen. I applaud you and wish you well in your future.
You will have to forgive me. I just noticed the video was 6 years old. I assumed it was current. I just like to try help new hunters to get started. I still hope you progressed into a great hunting life and I wish you much more in the future.
“Better terminal performance”……dead is dead buddy
I shot one with a 30 30 right in the lungs the thing layed down for 3 minutes stood back up and I finally grabbed the scoped 223 and shot it through the head. I like to think that with a 22 250 as long as its within 120 its almost a for sure drop.
I have a range rifle 22-250, but have watched a lot of videos of whitetail deer being taken by that caliber. I think your bullet or load combination was lacking. that second shot should have taken it down. maybe a heavier bullet?
A very respectable Pronghorn buck. Well done.
Glad she kept shooting till it was dead. Anything that takes 2 to 3 shots to kill the animal,, is not enough gun to kill it quickly, humainly, and ethically.
Obviously you have never herd of shot placement.
Very crool!!!!! 22-250 is not enough gun to kill Antelope ethical and quickly. Sick of people using to small of a gun to kill big game animals. Use a 7mm-08, or 270. Not cool.😡😡😡👎👎👎👎👎👎
What caliber arrow should I use when bow hunting?
😁🇺🇸😍
So I guess she's about 20 now, I hope shes still hunting and excitement has not faded. With any luck I will be out there someday for a goat hunt myself. Fun to watch by btw. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the nice comment and for watching. Skylar is now in college, hunting is on hold for now. Sooner you apply in this great state, sooner you will be out here someday. Good luck!
Definitely need a bigger round for pronghorn. So you do not risk wounding them. No reason not to other than cost.
There’s food grade CO2, do l need to look for food grade dry ice?
I've never seen dry ice that is not food grade. Usually it's sold in grocery stores and ice packing facilities. Thanks for watching!
That's also how you make cocaine.
Whaaaaat?
This is amazing, just bought my first sodastream and I'll be trying this for my first refill.
add 140 grams or 5 oz or 1/3 of a pound of dry ice........the neoprene [rubber] O ring makes the seal not beating the valve....so good and tight is sufficient
great video, saved me $40 already.. I had some doubts, but this is great..
Can't open the tank. Any tricks?
Maybe a bigger wrench. It will come off, it's just super snug when opening it the first time. Thanks for watching.
He was pumped up with adrenalin being the Big Daddy with the Ladies, 1st and 3nd a bit to far back 2nd looked sweet as a nut though, that adrenalin is some good stuff to keep him standing like that.
You are the first person to notice that. Thanks for watching.
How long it last when you use dry ice
In the bottle, it will last as long as a normal refill.
eeh, too much waste, mess, and bother. I bought a knockoff hose for $30, a tank of CO2 for about $150, and hooked 'em up directly to my machine. Thing's been going a year now with no end in sight. Refills on the tank are $35.
