If the shark-270 security is enabled it is required that the user and password are encrypted before the modbus write in the logging process. But in the energy meter documentation there is no information about what kind of encryption should be used. Any suggestions?

This type of meters are really a high tech meter device......i have a couple of Nexus units for doing reliable and accuracy power quality studies and.................... the performance is excellent. I reccomend to trust on this brand for using the devices on any electrical measurement application.

you say repeatedly "contact me..." but provide no contact information. You mention the meter can operate on 18 - 60 volt dc or 90 - 265 volt ac or dc but you give no information how to configure for the different voltage inputs. WTF????
