Really lil tough cars very Good on gas.

When I purchased my first new car 87 gt, it snapped a cable and when I got the car back it caught on fire. No clip on the throttle cable and didn't push it in the stay. I talking flames. It was fixed again. 87 is still my favorite year.

Nice review. Def, wouldn't want a sunroof either. Love the exterior lines, interior features especially with this 2LT spec. The RS package is exactly what i would want. In April 2023 i treated myself to a 1999 C5 Hardtop with only 18k miles, 6 speed manual, with Z51 suspension. Bought it from a dealership in FL based off pics, car fax and had the salesman send me a video of it running and driving. Had it shipped to me in Staten Island, NY which went smooth. The hardtop or FRC (Fixed Roof Coupe) is rare, only about 4k made in 1999. Its bone stock. its an awesome car but honestly its really meant for the track. 345 hp and 350 ft.lbs of torque @4400 rpm, and only 3200 pounds it is def. fast. Its not my daily, its my 2nd car, garage kept and used for golfing and cruising. the camaro's trunk is about 4 cubic feet smaller (9.1 vs 13.3). I'm sure my golf bag and pushcart will fit into the trunk, so that wont be an issue. I like the fact the V6 camaro only needs regular octane gas, def. a small cost savings. One issue is insurance, my C5 only costs me about $450 yr. thru national corvette museum. Really loving these 2016 6th gen camaro's. I haven't test drove any version. I think if i sell my corvette i would go for this V6 model, 2LT manual, same spec as this one. Considering the SS 8 Cylinder is about $10k more than the V6 is a major factor also.

how reliable is it?

I bought an 09 colbalt with 60k kilometres in it and was using it as a travelling car for mining! I’d put about 2-3k kilometres on it a week and I was kind of a dumbass so if wait 20 sometimes almost 40k kilometres before oil changes! I made it all the way to 456,000 miles before I seized the engine due to never maintaining the fucking thing (I paid 2k for it I wasn’t too sad) but honestly 10/10 for reliability that thing had absolutely no right lasting as long as it did with me beating it like a red headed stepchild the entire time I owned it

For what it's worth, that large single plastic frame in the center console now has a 3d-printed replacement sold at Fiero Store. It's not cheap, but it's also an option if it breaks.

Get a skip shift eliminator and your shifting issues will be remedied. I have the exact same car but in white. The manual challengers have a built in skip shift for fuel savings, it sometimes locks out second and forces you to shift to 4th. Sucky! Got a skip shift eliminator now no problems.

Love the car, but the bee stripe is not right. It should be lined up to the edge of the panel, and the smaller stripe should be wider.

I have the identical challenger but 2019 ! I switched the wheels to 18 hellcat 5 spoke satin black wheels with 275s and it still breaks them loose

03-04 Mach 1 had a true shaker too! Love when I see the super bees with their shakers! Had a photo shoot with one once

I started laughing when I looked up these dimensions because this is what"huge" is to this man the Camaro is 74 inches wide the challenger at 76 2 inches might say is too much for some people

Biggest peace of crap the in line 6 is the only thing it has going for it my 2005 .has 200 x miles on it you can't use the 4 wheel drive.air condition don't work but it does get from A to B which I am a big fan of beats walking .anyday of the week .but I for see a Toyota in the near future...

Hello, my name is Vincent Roth. Wondering if you or any commenter could give me some assistance/guidance. I bought a 1987 Fiero GT last spring. The previous owner took the entire interior apart and it now resides on my shop floor. Wondering, do you know of anybody in my area who could put this back together? I reside in Ridgeville, SC. Assistance or recommendations are very welcome.

You can buy new gas struts for the rear glass they are cheap and easy to replace. I don't know why they would tell you that.

I found a nice '88 GT for sale. Guy wanted $30k. I offered $15k. Didn't buy it.

The reflector (red/amber) is made in Italy and the; black sealing material is automotive dum dum you can purchase it by the box. The fiero uses as sealant in places nice video and my gt taillights are fine right now I own a 87gt

I like the 06 GMC Envoy Denali I have - it's been a great car and fun to drive. I have 200K miles on it, but had to take it to Mexico to get a head job and rank'n'pinion relpaced; also the mechanic replaced all the ball joints. My 01 Suburban has 320K miles and never needed any ball joints replaced, so the Envoy isn't holding up as well as the bigger truck.

1.4t is great same HP... Also uconnnect is in ther eith Bluetooth...

Nice review! I bought our Cobalt new in 2010. Its still going! 118,0000 miles later. Easy to repair, Cheap to maintain. In 13 years it has cost me maybe 2 grand for anything other than oil changes and tires. Few front end parts (tie rods) and sway bar bushings, brakes. This year is the first year I have had to do any major work. I replaced the VVT sensors. Spark Plugs. Rear Springs as one broke, Did shocks as I was in there anyway, serpentine belt as its never been changed and a wheel bearing on passenger side. I did the work myself as this car is super easy to work on and I am mechanically inclined. All that stuff cost me about 600 bucks. My hope is it will last another 5 years now. I love my Cobalt. Good all around get you there car.

18 MPG!!! Damn! I had 2 4 cyl ones that got 30-32 mpg combined. Either the normal 2.8 sucks gas or there is something wrong. Either way, this sells me in doing the 3800 upgrade when I get one. The 3800 in my modded Monte still got 27 mpg and that was 400 whp and an extra 1/2 ton of weight.

I've had an 86 gt auto and currently have an 86 gt manual. Best car ever
