So glad he has a chance to performance this, in time. So neat!
Chuck Berry Songs will never die !
Clash Of The Titans!
Great
JAMES Burton RULES! (but Albert's pretty AMAZING AS WELL)
He is my music teacher
Those two! I love them! They make me happy!
Nice to see James adopt the superstar guitar stance albeit less pronounced that those of lesser talent.
Che duetto fi chitarreeeee!!!! Meraviglioso ❤❤❤ bravissimi💯💯💯👍👍
James needs all your love these days. ❤
Wonderful guitar playing, from 2 guitar masters.
pure joy
Only hope this comes out on Blu-ray for this alone💎💎💎💎🎸👌🔥👏☘️
No better guitar players in the world.
I first saw Albert Lee playing lead guitar for The Everly Brothers in August 1984 at the Clark County Fair just north of Vancouver, Washington. I remember looking through my binoculars and thinking he looked like he could be SCTV comedian Martin Short's twin brother. I'm old enough to remember James Burton as Ricky Nelson's lead guitarist on the "Ozzie and Harriet" TV show in the late 1950s. Saw him playing lead guitar for John Denver at the 1988 Western Washington State Fair in Puyallup. So happily surprised when I saw him walk on stage that afternoon.
Just magical worked with Wayne Lee Albert's don fine piano player and smiles the same enjoying playing as every musican should ❤
Excellent 😁
Still having fun after 60 plus each years of playing and still playing like the masters they are.
I could simply listen to Albert Lee play every night. 80years young and still can play those country licks and sing like the legend he is.
Gran J, Burton
Two all time greats! 😎😎😎
I...love...it...mr...moncrief....l...own...it
Best of rockabilly,chapeau!
Two guitar engines together !!🎸🎸
Ok ma Albert Lee non è il migliore chitarrista come dice Clapton!! Non conosce tanto gallagher! Il grande Rory!!!
I remember this night so well. Absolutely magical.
Legendary footage! I just saw Albert Lee last week in Texas! I posted a video but will post more soon. Such a great guy and amazing guitar player!
The truthful brush relatedly matter because cup phylogenitically thaw save a jobless competitor. first, stupid mint
It doesn’t get any better than this!
Two guitar masters at play.......is all......
Unfortunate lighting on the instruments --can't see Burton's magic with the guitar.
Burton is so smooth playing guitar compared to all others. Nothing fancy, but great music.
There is JB and than all the rest. Play it again, James!
Иголки вгрызаются в локти в сосновом бору, а я его пру.
Wow...
Pure joy from two legends.
I could listen to that all day, all night every day. They are just great.
I just love the huge smile on Albert's face. "I'm up here on stage playing a classic Chuck Berry song, and I'm trading licks with _James Burton!_ It doesn't get better than this!" No, it doesn't. Rock on!
It doesn't get better than this. Keith Richards talked about buying Ricky Nelson singles back in the day. He wasn't buying them because Ricky was the singer. He was buying them because James Burton was the guitarist, and he wanted to hear and analyze what Burton did on his Telecaster that Keith might be able to incorporate into his playing. James' next stop was lead guitarist in Elvis Presley's touring band. Burton was someone Albert listened to, and you can see he's tickled. "I'm up here on stage playing with _James Burton!_ This is so great!" (And Burton gets incredible _tone_ from his Telecaster. I suspect other Telecaster players hear him and say "How does he _get_ that _tone?_. That's awesome!" Do it as long as Burton has and you learn things...)
@@thirdstonewanderer864 I'm aware of Albert's career with the Everlys. He had played with Don and Phil separately. during their split-up. He got a call saying Don and Phil had been conducting secret rehearsals and had patched up their differences, and were planning a one-off reun ion gig at the Royal Albert Hall. Would Albert like to sit in on lead guitar? Sure. But it wasn't a one-off. Albert found himself the reunited Everly Brothers lead guitarist for the next 26 years, till Don and Phil retired and stopped tourinc.
Can't beat Albert :)
Two of the best guitar wizards of all time doing a song of a true master.
No music TODAY LIKE THAT
I don't think Albert stopped smiling the whole way through. Two of the best.
They are having the best time just riffing off each other, what a blast 👍🍁
👏👏👏Sharp! Man! Sharp! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ☆ミ(o*・ω・)ノ(★・л・★)ゝ(*〇□〇)……!♬♫♪◖(●。●)◗♪♫♬
1 of my my idols and 2 heros. Bet if Elvis were still around he'd have gone past the Vegas glitter and been doing these gigs. Just a little silly comment has nothing to do with nothin but I keep noticing how James always looks like a good ole' country boy and Albert always looks so Brit. But they're one country in the music.
