@@sammidwood404 yes, I believe so.
@@workingwithLarryMullins if you can find out I may be able to make another reflector dish.
@@sammidwood404 I will take a look at it when I’m back at the shop, thanks
I’ve replaced my coil pack so many times..
I was hoping you could help so i know what parts to get
@@EaganRivers-ej5oc it could be the bearing, or a stuck caliper. I am going to do a quick short video on a new tool I am using to remove the wheel bearing assembly. The easiest way to check is simply jack the side off the ground that the noise is coming from and try spinning the wheel. If it spins freely. Try lifting the wheel up and down, see if it has any slop in it. Also, a lot of times the ABS light will come on if the bearing is bad.
I just bought a 02 Blazer and the front left wheel makes a loud squealing noise when I drive and the brakes also make a noise when I brake
Would have been nice yo see how the harness was plugged in
나이스!
Now just take that big orange POS off that nice battery and replace it with a Milwaukee drill you’ll have the problem fixed
I bet the pressure washer is an o ring issue ! :-)
This job is so much different living in icy, salted, rusted, northern tundra. I have a shop, have done this many times, and this last one took hours of heat, leverage, ascending sledge hammer weight, new curse words, and blind rage just to get the hub assembly separated. I'm from texas, didn't even know 6 year old vehicles could decompose like this.
@@juiceyou321 my truck was a Texas truck, I was lucky. I watch south main auto on RUclips, he lives in northern New York State, he says by the time the warranty is out up there they are ready for the scrap yard. I feel your pain my friend.
How would this affect the drivability
@@fordsixhoe1184 cracked turbo affects power by low boost or no boost. A 1.4 engine can Barely go up a hill without any boost. Just a poor design.
i wish you would of pointed out where the coil packs are and exactly what you cleaned. that would of been a huge help. But i will give this a shot, have same problem here
@@hollywoood1989 the coil pack is under the cover on the top of the engine, it just pulls off. The plug is on the drivers side. It’s a little bit fussy to get loose, cleaning it will usually get it running. It’s not a permanent fix, it’s just to point you in the right direction. Usually I replace the coil pack and the plug with GM replacement parts. Thanks for watching!
Im having the same issue with my chevy cruz rn.. i will check this tomorrow @workingwithLarryMullins
Those adapters sure work. Stay within amperage and theycwontncut out. To be sure i remove the battery after use!!!
That's so cool, I miss living in KY for all of the cool historical things to see and learn
I have so so many issues out of this exact car it’s crazy. I’m about to have to replace my turbo charger. I’m not sure if it’s my turbo squeeling when accelerating or my serp belt (belt has been replaced like 5 times)😢. Have replaced almost every pulley on the car. Water pump. Valve cover gasket (because of the evap system) thermostats like multiple times already in less than 3 years. Im leaking oil in multiple places as well including the 2 cam position sensors, and from one of the bolts on the valve cover gasket. It just never seems to stop. I just literally took it to the shop and had stuff fixed on it that was throwing a code, got it back the next day got another code for something else. Took it back to shop got stuff for that code fixed and then once again the next day check engine code comes back on again for engine underboost. Car has hardly no acceleration and is just super slow now. Has had a recent tune up. As well. Vacuum lines replaced. I’m just so done with this car😂 ive put more money into fixing this car than what it is even worth
Would it be worth upgrading the plastic valve cover to an aluminum cover instead? I would like to try and get at least another 40-50k miles out of this car for sure already at 167k.
@@kylemooney1256 these things are trouble for sure, the one way valve in the intake blows out and sends boost directly into the crankcase. It will blow air out the little vent in the valve cover causing a whistling sound. It will also blow air out the dipstick when you pull it out when running.
I thought those lines aren’t push connect? Don’t you screw them on a few turns first WITH the turbo out of car. Then tighten the bolt. Am I thinking of the wrong line?
We tried it different ways, the first line was defective. Think it was a return someone brought back. The next line worked fine.
@@workingwithLarryMullins just happened to me. New turbo in. Great. Blew a line. Crap!! So upset
Did you have to remove turbo and everything to redo the line?
@@TheBearGrylz my grandson was able to get his arm in there, but it was tough. We took the turbo off the first time the line leaked, when that didn’t fix it, we replaced with a new line, and left the turbo in place, but it was tough to reach. He worked under the car while I guided the banjo bolt into the block from the top. It helped to have an extra set of hands.
@@workingwithLarryMullins Icic. Thank you for the help! I got mine. It was not fun. I left turbo in and got a knuckle drive in there blindly. Got lucky. It’s fixed! I commend you for helping. Thanks for your video

@@Krypto.Bluebeam spun rod bearings.
You can go ahead and leave the gap. Those five quarter boards will shrink half an inch in a years time and look like you purposely spaced them anyway 😂

Redneck learnt some science
Should of made one up right instead that gap would of been all the way closed
I had no issues with the Dorman line kit. The coolant lines into/out of the back of the turbo are quick connects for ease of installation. Install the female quick connects into the turbo but don’t insert the male end of the banjo bolt line yet. You can insert the line with the hose end because it’s easy to connect the hose/clamp later. Install the line with banjo bolt on the block while the turbo is off and it’s easy to start the threads without losing the seals. You can leave bolt loose and torque the seal later if needed. As you are hanging the turbo/manifold on the studs you can insert the male end of the line into the female quick connect. Pressure test the cooling system with air if you want to insure you have good seals before assembling anything else. The quick connects use a special disconnect tool if you need to disassemble. Long reach torx bit sockets help with the manifold stud nuts. Torx head fits within the diameter of the nut, so it avoids issues with some hex sockets that won’t fit around the outside circumference of the nuts in the tight spaces near the manifold.
Thanks for the info, hopefully it will help others watching this, hopefully won’t have to do another one for a while! lol!
Cargo ratchet strap. Works perfect.
My 2006 chevy Malibu overheats when i start the engine. After 5-10 minutes of driving the temperature gauge reaches Below the redzone then the fans come on and the temperature comes down. I also hear gurgling when this happens. The temp comes back to normal and stays that way for the rest of the drive. I replaced the thermostat several times. Flushed the system. Replaced the fans. Replaced water pump and bled the system several times and still keeps happening. Any insights?
@@AnthonyPooran try checking the return line to the coolant overflow tank, sometimes they get plugged. It’s the smaller tube on the bottom of the tank. Hope that helps.
@@workingwithLarryMullins you mean the housing where the thermostat sits and the return hose starts back towards to reservoir? I'll check it out thanks 🙏
@@AnthonyPooran yes that is the one I was referring to, I have found those clogged on several different models, that’s what vents the trapped air.
Personally mine was the resivoir cap, the gasket had failed and was letting the pressure out, causing it to boil over
I replaced the res cap and cleaned the pin in the res tank, checked the thin hose from the res to the thermostat and there's no blockage. Yesterday it did it again, started car after sitting for 8 hours or so, drove 10 min and when the operating temperature range went into red zone. Fans were on, looked under the hood and no coolant was spilling out of the res tank overflow but it was high up in the tank. Cracked the bleeder valve on the water pump and it hissed out air for about 10 seconds before fluid came out.
Thank you Sir. The background music is nice but not necessary. I am ant to hear what you have to say loud and clear. That’s what’s important. Thanks again and I will try what you did.
I use a hammer and a screw to pull my boards together. I'll have to try this
I remember these kins of tips when I used to worked with my dad. Thanks for share.
It’s just as effective and easier using a large flathead screwdriver

Ratchet strap.
Oops sorry I didn't see your reply. IMHO it works the best.
@@donwoodruff4618 Now where this doesn't apply to decks...... I have always preferred metal stud to wood because 100% is usable on delivery.
Should have done it from the other way. Works better when you are pushing at the widest part. And honestly that board another screw and a wedge would have closed that up nice. And on a side note why are you putting a shim between wet boards. Those are supposed to touch so they dry and leave about and eighth inch gap between each one.
My wife’s 2014 with 120k miles, has gone through 3 turbos and it just cracked a piston in cylinder 3. In the process of tearing the engine down to see if the block is good and if it is I’ll put new pistons in it. I’ve changed the oil every 3k miles so it’s not neglected, weve owned it since new
Any luck brother?
That line is for the 06-11 Impala 3.5/3.9 at least it fits!
Use the other joist to bring flushed to the nail, there will not be any 1/8” off
Little tricks of the trade make it all that much easier. Comes only with experience...
Pretty interesting😅❤
Sir it's still an 8th of an inch off just replace the damn board
It’s probably not worth it to the buyer to go through and replace all the boards when some can be made to work. At 40$ a board and however many boards are slightly warped, which were already paid for, you gotta make some of them work.
Isn't there supposed to be space?
The boards dry and leave a space after they dry. He should be butting the boards together. As tight as possible. When they dry there will be a small gap. And I hope it's built at a lean so the water runs. Also hope he put the cup of the board on top.
Good craftsmanship
