How come I immediately recognized the picture of a grotto you used 😮 For those curious, it's a German place called fairy grotto in the more rural parts of Germany. I grew up there, looks like that image burned itself into my memory although I haven't seen them for a decade 😂 More importantly though, thank you for giving me an entertaining summary of these books. I heard so many mixed reviews about them that I didn't want to be disappointed by them. This summary is wonderful, thank you ❤

What I think is hilarious is that the author REALLY hates Dain and she also REALLY wants you to hate him too, but honestly (until the whole "oh, rules this rules that" which was so out of character for the guy who tried to make a secret plan in spite of the rules to save Violet, but whatever) he was kind of right. He seems to be the only person who realizes that violet has a disability. Like an existing one. And you can't just "work hard!" through a disability (but again, Violet's disability turns on and off throughout the books more times than I can remember)
