I upload old commercials, obscure music (primarily Seeburg 1000), and anything else I find interesting or difficult to find online.

The engineers said not to launch in below freezing temperatures. NASA ignored them.
Bring back Muzak. We are sick of Taylor Swift
8:00 …I don’t know the song, But (not that anyone asked or likely cares) the clarinet! I think it’s Bobby Gordon. I was liking Joe Marsala for many of these Seeburg sides, but now I think it’s his protégé Bobby! Damn. I’m almost certain. Makes sense.
10:52 "Frenesi" ...The "Why saxophone?" version.
30:09 "Sunny" the title song of the 1925 Kern and Hammerstein Musical, interesting to see as the show was never revived.
Great Record😊
Wow this hits hard 0:40
5:09 Yikes. Slowest version of “Rose Room” ever. …Had to check my playback speed setting.
So… A workplace with this music player repeats the same tracks if the stack isn’t changed? …Not sure “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” is the best way to start the day.
LOVE IT ! 🎵🎵
22:22 “Gravy Waltz” …Nice one.
learned something new about westinghouse
why is this left ear
unclog your right ear
DAMN, so great.
anyone know the name of the tune @ 24:40?
is this lacquer?
No
@@RaptorsVideos Oh i've got a 16in transcription disc as well under the 3DB label. no idea how to transfer
@@bensreflection3985 You'll either need a transcription turntable or you'll need to modify a regular turntable to fit 16 inch records
Charles Buddy Rogers was A Hollywood Actor Starred In Wings. The First Academy Award Winning Film in 1927 😊
And then he led a dance orchestra during the 1930's, making records for Victor in 1932, and Vocalion in 1938, made numerous radio and movie appearances, and finally married Mary Pickford, and were together for 42 years until her death in 1979; he shared another marriage for 18 years until his death in 1999, at the age of 94.

PLEASE, Somebody knows how do i find in youtube just this song: 0:04:24 *Vehicle* INSTRUMENTAL
these were in house custom recordings so more than likely the arrangers never published there works outside of the corporation… every now and again someone like lester lanin will have one of his muzak pieces show up on a record that wasn’t released until 30 years after muzak reeled its last tapes. this particular recording, im not sure exactly of who the arranger is, but im leaning towards Dave Terry or Jane Jarvis, both of which pretty much never released their works for muzak anywhere outside of muzak
Due to this arrangement being similar to Sid bass' arrangements of You Make Me Feel Someone and Honey Come Back (both of which are on this tape). This is likely more of Sid bass' work. He probably also arranged That Same Old Feeling which is also on this tape.
Recorded on April 18, 1932.
Was it recorded in Britain and licensed to Gennett? They did have some agreements with Edison-Bell, and Joseph Sharpe ["Olly Oakley"] recorded for them
idk

oh this is delightful! thank you for sharing it! <3
13:27 Who is this orchestrator?? Whole arrangement is only one-and-a-half choruses. Has so many little surprises and texture changes, yet doesn’t even bother with the original counter-melody. …Pretty slick. …Song is Irving Berlin’s “You’re Just In Love” from Call Me Madam
🎉🎉🎉🎉
3:25:50 LOVE this selection especially the wonderful counter melodies ! Thanks MUZAK !!!🎵🎵
“Just Friends”

I will eat you (agree)
Nice! Would love to know the release date of this pressing. I'm guessing late 1940s???
Jerry recorded numerous sessions for NBC/RCA's "Thesaurus", Associated and World Broadcasting System transcription services during the 1940's. I would say this was recorded and distributed around 1940.
Nice
More please .. and thank you! ;o)
How do you manage to play the discs created with vertical transcription? Doesn't that require a special type of player?
you just have to switch the polarity of one of either the right or left channel on the turntable cartridge
@@RaptorsVideos I never knew it was possible!

[126] 5:24:23 is Serafina by Earl Sheldon. Taken from The Mozart Edition Library LP [ME LP066] from 1971.
6:01:37 [137] Lancashire Blues, aka the Coronation Street theme. It's a very very VERY long-running TV soap opera from the UK. In fact, it's the longest-running soap opera, airing since 1960!
1:17:42 "Diane" originally sung by The Bachelors in 1964.
[008] 18:48 is Evening Rendezvous by William Gardner & His Orchestra. Taken from the Mozart Edition Library Album [ME LP061]
I have this record, the prior owner at some point used medical tape around the hole to make if fit the spindle
I found that one of those spindle adaptors to make a super8 reel fit an 8mm projector are just the right size for standard discs as well.
Lots more old-fashioned 1940's luxury-liner orchestra fare in the beginning, very nice!
14:32 - Close Your Eyes Note: A similar version appears on a few earlier records.
1:10:56 - This also appears on a few other records.
B78 (7:03:30) is Tea and Trumpets arr. Elliot Lawrence. this same rendition appears on the Oct, 1973 tape
5:56:46 is Pile Driver by Harry Howard and His Music from the 1971 Mozart Edition LP ME LP063
We had this record in our house when I was growing up. My parents had such a small record collection; why they owned this, I never found out. Did they buy it? Borrow it? Find it? BUT OH MAN THIS IS WHAT I WANTED EVERY ORCHESTRA TO SOUND LIKE.
This has a great 1930's/1940's ocean-liner-orchestra sound to it - I see a ballroom with pillars of burled mahogany and silver art deco trim, potted palms, and of course tuxedos and evening gowns aplenty. Love it, thank you fur uploading!
