Neil Young’s Cowgirl In The Sand (1969), played solely on Bass Guitar (and voice of course). Here is my version of this tune, as an example how to accompany oneself with nothing more than a 4-string Bass Guitar. Hi there! Here I am again, with another tune of mine. This one is played in bossa nova style, performed in summer 2014 in my own garden. The Lady in red, sitting on my shoulder, is my Eclectus Parrot named Ruby. And by the way, quite naturally she has got the ability to fly, but fortunately, she doesn't really fancy doing that. This piece is based on a melody I composed in 1984, so it took thirty years to get finished. The recording and the video I made between the end of April and the beginning of May 2014. For this creation I used my Selmer Soprano Saxophone, a Jupiter Baritone Saxophone, a Fender Jazz Bass and my Grey Parrot named Trudy. With kind regards Gerd Becker
