If you are planning to visit Halifax or Nova Scotia, please do not. Because local government does not like tourism, they are not welcoming tourist. The local government make new law to prohibit resident to operate short term rental form their property from 2025. If you like to visit Halifax, be prepared to pay 200% or more cost per night for your stay in hotel instead of Airbnb or booking from on 2025.

Halifax is looking beautiful, I would love to see Jamaica as part of Canada, one proposal is for Jamaica to be part of the Province of Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia North & Nova Scotia South which would make sense. Each region would maintain its Capital City. Once Jamaica is part of Canada the Turks and Caicos would surely follow. Canada as a growing first world country needs a strong Caribbean region. To be completely upfront the people should demand this from their unmotivated politicians. It is about time politicians and political parties in Canada show some usefulness!

Halifax has been under construction, for a while, but she is becoming darn pretty! I think the pretty part has snuck up on people, Americans, Europeans, and now Canadians are seeing a truly beautiful city on the Atlantic Shores with that incredible Atlantic light that artists have spoken about for years. As Halifax builds towards one million plus people she will only get better! Dartmouth will have the tallest buildings over time, it is the variation in height of the buildings that helps Halifax look really good!

Amazing how our good weather is holding on. Sure makes it wonderful for all the cruises. You're making me think that a walk along the waterfront is going to have to be a priority...just don't do so well in crowds. Just great to see the city. Thanks!!

It occurred to me that the young people walking in Halifax are so unaware of her strategic history, unless they study history at one of her five universities.

Beyond the both lovely and interesting buildings Halifax is steeped in history. Much the history is of Colonial times pre Confederation. Halifax is older than all the Western Canadian Cities as lovely as they are. In so many ways it will be magnificent to see Halifax grow to one million people and beyond. Thanks for the video which is great!
