I do think you are misrepresenting what they believe of the original sin. According to Christian doctrine it does say that it is human nature to sin and what not but that's not the same concept of original sin of adam and eve being put on us humans.

      @@gregnordeng9196what!? LoL... No! Lucifer is not even in the Bible... 🤣 If you're referring to Isaiah 41... Lucifer is just a popular transliteration of "the Morning star". It's associated to the devil, because it refers to the King of Babel. Satan was cast out of heaven after the crucifixion. We know Satan was the prince of this world because of the interaction between him and Jesus on Mathew 4: Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory (the splendor, magnificence, preeminence, and excellence) of them. Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan! Then on John 12 we read: Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. Satan was cast out of the divine council during Jesus' enthronement at the cross. Because His reing began then. He rose again and defeated death, and the Accuser of death. All the creation works for God's purposes, even his enemies!

    Hi there, nice deck. I almost took it to a store championship recently but went with a datasucker Andy instead as I'm a new player. A few questions: 1) With the rise of Punative BS running mainly 5/3 agenda (big in my meta), would you consider anything else instead of Logos? With less agendas being scored, Logos has less use. 2) Apart from Supplier and some burst econ, is there anything else you want to see in your opening hand.

  • @dougstamper2288
    @dougstamper2288 9 лет назад

    I like seeing Logos in this deck I remember a while back last year on Bad Publicity Jamieson saying its a really under rated console and that he loved using it since its the perfect search card in situations when you are not finding what you need. and on that note do more Bad Publicity episodes I love listening to the conversations that you guys get into on that show its always great topics

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 9 лет назад

      I'd say it depends on the pilot. I'll take this over Stealth on almost every matchup. I get a lot of money, and can actually control remotes. It's a great RP matchup, destroys Weyland, competitive versus NEH. I think it takes a fair amount of practice to master it as there are some moving pieces and critical decisions with Logos etc.

  • @basoon87
    @basoon87 10 лет назад

    Comp Employee is a very good card in the right circumstances. If you recall, Jesse, Niles, and I all ran 3 at worlds last year because it was the best sustained Econ in Andy at the time. I think Niles Ran 2 Kati as well because he was packing a Femme while Jesse and I were not. NBN was also everywhere as were Caduceus and (to a lesser degree) Viper. We got a ton of accesses through trace ICE that other people were because they weren't playing it. The reason we ended up eventually cutting it for stuff like Kati was that the corp econ got way better over the next few packs and then ICE got bigger. The card still stupid strong when you got 2 (and especially 3) over the first 2 turns, but the times when you got only 1 or none, the returns it gave couldn't keep up with the ICE the corp was rezzing. You needed sustained econ that could come down anywhere from turn one to turn "the beginning of the end" and start making cash (Read: Kati). I can see how the Supplier helps with the problem CE had (since you can play it with very little opportunity cost later in the game), and I can also see how Blue Sun makes it better (they rez ICE pretty much every turn you run), but I still think that the old problem stands: Many game will will simply not have 2 early enough to make a big difference. Second point: Why no Kati? She seems like she fits well with The Supplier (it's like playing her and clicking her with one click...almost). She also gives you a sustained economy that can help you power through the corp's ICE. Personally I find her essential, so I'm interested to know why you aren't running her. Lastly: This deck seems like it's going to be weak to NEH. I say this because you have exactly 1 Fracter and 1 Decoder. The main difference between my deck pre-NEH and my Deck Post NEH is that I now run at least 2 of each breaker as well as 3 Special Order. Even if you added 1 Passport (more than okay) and 1 Breach (could be better, though it is hilariously good against Curtain Wall), I feel like it would dramatically improve your ability to dominate the early game. Honestly, the first thing I would try with this deck is cutting one parasite (it just loses to much utility when Sucker is not in the picture) and one ES or SDB and adding a Corroder and a Passport. This would consistently let you get 1 of each break out very early and let you get off an AS as soon as possible, which the key to stopping NEH in its tracks (that and being able to access HQ and R&D at will, which more breakers will help you with as well). Anyway, you said you wanted thoughts. These are mine. Hope you fond them useful.

  • @palpster1
    @palpster1 10 лет назад

    What are your thoughts on using Sneakdoor and Security Testing in the same deck, given that Sec Testing will usually cause Archives to be iced up. Being strictly an econ card wouldn't Kati be a better choice? Of course a lot of decks these days (NEH, Jinteki) run naked assets, so there is that. Like I said, what're your thoughts on this?

  • @ChrisMNetrunner
    @ChrisMNetrunner 10 лет назад

    Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy hearing the thought process behind the deck :) I have been playing a very similar list since The Supplier was released except I actually cut Account Siphon and found room for 2 Inside Job and a Kati. Purely in my personal experience, HQI, Security Testing, and Shutdown already pressure HQ a lot and Corps are forced to defend it heavily. Additionally, there are more counterplay options to Siphon than ever before (rezzing assets, Caprice, now Crisium Grid). So it becomes hard to land productive Siphons and they clog the hand.

  • @victorgbs
    @victorgbs 10 лет назад

    Great deck, Greg. Two questions, though: 1) 0 Inside Job? I find 3 like some lists run to be overkill, but what were your results when you certainly tested something like 2 Emergency Shutdown 1 Inside Job? 2) As another commenter asked, no permanent non-run based economy card is a bit scary. In the video you comment on how you do not want to be locked out, but how often do you find yourself clicking for credits vs, say, an RP player who has all 3 centrals iced up (at least with a pup), severely weakening security testing? Or just "how to play vs glaciers" in general, *especially* if they have ELP out.

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 10 лет назад

      Until I played 3 games against Blue Sun today I would not have thought I needed Kati. I am going to experiment with playing 1 Kati and keep playing with only 2 Emergency Shutdown. I will really only NEED Kati in longer games, and with Mr. Li on the table, I will get to her eventually. Thanks for the input all, Kati might be in!

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 10 лет назад

      As far as inside Job... One of my all time favorites. Pains me to not play it. I realize not playing cards like Inside Job can hurt me in the "Win Now" style of play, and sometimes I wish I had it. Instead I have sacrificed a little of that "Win Now" for "Win Later" to have a more balanced deck. My goal with this deck is to have the cards to consistently win versus any match up I face. I believe worlds will have very strong decks on the taxing side, and very strong decks on the speed side, for that versatility seems paramount.

  • @rossfreitag587
    @rossfreitag587 10 лет назад

    Dirty Laundry certainly loses it's luster when you don't have Datasuckers. I remember when your first version of this showed up on NRDB and it was interesting how relatively close it was to the version of Andy I was running back then. We've certainly gone in very different directions since then (I've become a sheep!). Interesting that this deck, at a first glance, looks rather econ light, but clearly it's doing work. I might have to test with something along these lines before worlds.

  • @brodeelo
    @brodeelo 10 лет назад

    you mentioned that you are expecting enhanced login protocol at worlds. Typically criminal solves this by saving the inside jobs/ dirty laundries. You have neither. Thoughts? wrt plascrete on the supplier, I'm down with that line, assuming the corp has no sansan, or unknonw remotes. you don't want them to score a breaking news and kill your supplier that moment.

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 10 лет назад

      Couple good thoughts there +brodeelo. I was really hoping a decent neutral or criminal current for runner was available. I will just have to deal with currents the old fashioned way by stealing agendas. As far as Plascrete, it's important to be mindful when using the supplier so you don't get it killed. Not really a big deal if your smart about it.

    • @brodeelo
      @brodeelo 10 лет назад

      Greg Nordeng haha, yea I was hoping one would come out too. it looks like first contact is 100% spoiled and will be the last datapack available. its not like the run events are even that great against ELP in RP, you need two of them. and you really want to dirty laundry maybe archives with security testing for marginal value and then an inside job on the scoring remote. Its just it is definitely not worth influence to run net celebrity, so its just all Andy can really do. Thanks for the list, I'm definitely going to do some testing with this deck. I have a hard time playing a deck that doesn't have some sort of long term econ card like kati, that is another concern of mine.

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 10 лет назад

      brodeelo don't forget Sneakdoor is a card ability the disregards ELP. Additionally, as long as you are killing and shutting enough ice down, you'd be amazed the amount of money you can make from the employees. You are getting rewarded for making the Corp spend money. It's a really beautiful thing. If you are aggressive enough you won't need a card like kati. Although I understand feeling like you might need one as a security blanket.

    • @brodeelo
      @brodeelo 10 лет назад

      Greg Nordeng good point about beta, I totally missed that. siphon could also work. I feel like an extra click on a run on centrals with interfaces is fine. I was more thinking about ELP on the turn where you want to get into that remote; the ELP gets you no matter what.

    Nice game, even if I would have liked to see it go a little longer. Paranoid played well for sure, but was not exactly unlucky with the accesses, it felt like, without actually counting. Great commentary as always: not sure if I prefer you being able to see the hands of the players though, as I imagine it must be a little bit hard to fully separate that knowledge from the analysis of the actual plays being made. On the other side, being able to compare different possible lines of play with the same cards makes for very interesting commentary in a lot of situations.

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 10 лет назад

      Ya, with more practice I think i can manage that better. But another thing is my comments might not always fit that players playstyle. So it's quite possible I'm reading plays wrong based on what's in the deck and or that persons playstyle. Keep that in mind when listening to me comment on other players' games.

  • @gregnordeng9196

    Have you thought about NEXT Design for the rush play style, I've been trying to make it work recently and think I'm getting closer (Domestic sleepers and next silver help). Do you think the possible 6 "free" clicks early game is more beneficial in a rush deck than the install credits?

    • @gregnordeng9196
      @gregnordeng9196 10 лет назад

      I think NEXT Design is getting better over time, The NEXT ICE is a great addition for it. The one thing holding it back from tier 1 IMO is the lack of consistency in being able to use it's benefit. Compare to EtF where you have the chance to use it's benefit (and a great one at that) every single turn. There will be a number of games where NEXT is superior due to it's ability to get a huge jumpstart. The problem is I don't think I can rely on it enough game in and game out to win a large tournament.

    Have you thought about -1 braintrust, -1 datamine (or maybe EMP or Tori), +2 Gila Hands Arcology to support your economy a little more. Komainu is bonkers in PE, but I think you're right not to have it here. It's too expensive and parasite is definitely a thing. I'd like to see this deck played. I haven't seen Jinteki never advance flatline.

      I like your suggestion! What I found is that most games I have enough econ to do everything I need to. Gila is an all time favorite of mine, and as much as I like it, I think 3/2's are too valuable to take any out. Between these 2 factors, I think I will keep it as is for now.

    As usual, good run down of a deck build.

    Going to mention that I have in fact traded the EMP's for Shock. Free net damage that can hit multiple times and always be a deterrent to run archives. Very strong!
