Well, this didn't work out.

This was arguably the sweetest scene of the Sam Rami Trilogy. The nastiest, in my opinion was when Spider-Man did the same thing to Gwen.

Nothing about this scene works : First problem : the acting. Jonathan Majors's acting, is over the top. Seeing him pmaying the different Kang is laughable. He sounds like a five years old trying to portray different characters. The attitude, the movement, the voices... Everything is overdone. The third Kang is supposed to be the final boss, the one who control the multiverse. And all you see, is a blackfaced black man, thinking he is asian, with a very chopped diction. He feels like the reunion of the racist stereotypes from the 80's. Second problem : the staging. Nothing spells less scary that a stadium full of sports fans. But this is exactly the kind of feeling you have, when you watch this scene. A bunch of boomer, beer drinkers, pizza eaters and wife beaters who are celebrating after winning the world cup. I don't see how Immortus is supposed to command them all, when they show no discipline. An army of disciplined Kang would have been a lot scarier and threatening, and would have also explain why the one, from the movie we just watched, was the exiled one. Third problem : Jonathan Major. Do I have to explain this one ?

The Kangs are not actually the same person, otherwise killing one would potentially kill all of them. Each univerese stacked onto each other has it's own timeline, or thread. If each universe had several kangs throughout it's history then only that universe's variant chain would be impacted. But as we know from end game, time travel doesnt work the way we thought from films like back to the future. Your past is now your future which cannot be changed by your former past.
