I was given a van by my company to drive around London fixing airconditioning in about 1980, it had an 8-track player (a forgotton tape format) with just this tape in it, so it got played all day every day! Just married, sunny days, life in front of me, great times!

I love this song but to me, especially in these dangerous times, it has a deeper and darker subtext, evoking images of the earth after an apocalypse. It says to me that humans may ruin their earth but nature will rebuild it when they are gone.

When this came out I was a teenager and just lost my first girlfriend. Life was over and I would never love again.... Fifty years on - well - I was wrong!

I was 15 at the time & really loved listening to The Hustle at the disco!! I pretended to be 18 going there!! I shall never forget it!!!! EXCELLENT

It's difficult to accept that Karen isn't here anymore. Her body of work is incredible and her voice ....angelic. Perhaps the smoothest, intoxicating sound I have ever heard in my life. Thank you Karen for sharing your gift and bringing so much joy to so many people. R.I.P
