A Tale of Two Halves - Part 1 - Felixstowe North Development
Просмотров 113Месяц назад
I started this video in 2019 when I heard of the Felixstowe Local Plan which would eradicate this vast open space for housing . It's been called Felixstowe Garden Neighbourhood, Local Plan, Felixstowe North Development and more and was the biggest by far housing development of many across Felxstowe and the Trimleys. The key point is most of this development falls within the perimeter of Gulpher...
North Felixstowe Development - East Suffolk Council Presentation Feb 2024 - COMPLETE with subtitles
Просмотров 1 тыс.11 месяцев назад
As a resident of Felixstowe for 45 years and a dog walker and photographer of the area for development, I decided to take the gear to film the event. East Suffolk Council kindly authorised professional gear into the event and I have presented here for residents of Felixstowe who could not attend. This is the full un-edited version complete with Q&A and includes subtitles for the deaf or hard of...

Weaving in an interest of the development of AI filmmaking the future of film creativity looks very special. Here's some key moments of the projects I've been lucky to be involved with.
Love Felixstowe Festival Highlights 2023

Felixstowes first Love Felixstowe Festival is summarised here in a high octane highlights video. Spanning four days with a plethora of bands, acts, things to do and including the Mens Tour of Britain stage 5, Love Felixstowe was deemed a spectacular success. Filming for this event presented many logistical challenges as it was just me. You can find a video of mynprep on my Swallow Media faceboo...

POLICING THE TOUR OF BRITAIN 2023 - STAGE FIVE FELIXSTOWE
Просмотров 319Год назад
The Tour of Britain 2023 had its stage 5 begin and end in Felixstowe. I was situated in a part of the town looking to get some shots for an event video called Love Felixstowe, of which the Tour was a part. Positioned and ready for over an hour I knew the cyclists would pass in an instant so the camera was kept running just in case a wrong button was pressed. During that time we witnessed a mesm...

A Neural Frames Film Creation - One Dogs Dream - Vertical Video
Просмотров 69Год назад
So playing around again with Neural Frames amazing software. As it was a vertical photo I carried on with vertical video. Not sure why I persisted with this but it was fun anyway. Having never done vertical video nor use instagram I need to understand it's use and if I've done it correctly. Presume it's a social media thing (I know, I'm old). Starting with a photograph of our dog with the subse...
A Neural Frames Film Creation - Earth and Back

A first outing with Neural Frames AI visual creation tool. Using a black and white still image of Felixstowe Beach in the UK, we use Neural Frames to take us through life on earth, into space, beyond our minds and then back again. It's a very refreshing tool and you feel very creative using this compared to say Runway Gen-1 or 2. It's a completely different concept and will be interesting to se...
A Runway Gen-2 Film - An Ostrich Oddity - with Eleven Labs & Narakeet
Просмотров 134Год назад
Some weird shenanigans are going on as random Ostrich quirks start appearing in this Ostrich story. Who is behind this? This is the second outing with Runway Gen-2 working on themes, this time Ostriches (no idea why). This took two evenings to make which is really not alot when you consider the output you get. Some good, some bad, lots of credit used though which is the only drawback. In this e...
Runway ml Gen-2 Film - Text-to-Video / Terror from the Earth / 1950s Sci-Fi Homage
Просмотров 187Год назад
Using the newly released to the public (that's me) Runway ml Gen2 text-to-video I've made a 1950s b-movie sci-fi homage keeping all the very peculiar AI elements intact so we can look back in awe at how fantastic, yet weird, this period of AI is. In this particular instance of Runway ml Gen2 I decided not to interpolate, nor upscale, nor lock prompts of each generated video. This gives me a ref...
AI Generated Film Created with Runway ml Gen-1 - Sense - PG13

The second investigation of Runway ml Gen-1 video-to-video AI software. This time a different genre which shows some strengths and weaknesses of the system. Things I found difficult, annoying, interesting, good or wish for in the current Runway ml Gen-1 video-to-video: 1. Previews are a frame only, and often don't work out how you expect once processed therefore losing valuable credits. You sho...
Runway Gen-1 Video-To-Video Side-By-Side Comparison - Pathway

Here's a look at how gen-1 video-to-video interprets the footage of my test short film Pathway with a near side-by-side comparison (not quite able to match). The prompts used were consistent for tone and style but I didn't always get what I needed. Quality also was not always great. However, this is wehere it starts and it will only get better. I ama fan of filming my own parts (and using stock...
AI Generated Film Created with Runway ml Gen-1 - Pathway

This is my first AI short film created with Runway ml Gen-1 to see how it all works. In particular the video-to-video aspect where I've used a mixture of stock footage and my own. A lot of the scenes I needed Runway simply couldn't generate specifics good enough or maybe I didn't know how. I've left in a lot of rough stuff as I didn't want to keep paying for credits and good to look back on to ...

Felixstowe Book Festival 2022 - Talk 4/5 - You Too Can Go To Sea
Have gone through a number of lists on effective martial arts and never see Japanese Ju Jitsu on there and have no idea why. Obviously extremely effective. Would put it at the top.
@@aaronzaremsky8434 mainly because it’s a battlefield art and just a part of a samurais repertoire. See this video ruclips.net/video/c8oJRfbhLs8/видео.htmlsi=wd5_Q84S7r-sXWvl which if you can see most punching and kicking martial arts simply wouldn’t work. In modern day it can be effective in the right hands and with the application adjusted ie grabbing the wrist for disengage a sword draw, could simply be a hand entering your ‘space’. So effectiveness really depends on circumstances and application. In this video some more practical applications are also shown. What do you think?
@@swallowmedia If it was used on the battlefield by Samurai in battle it would be effective. And modern Jujutsu would be modified for real-world situations (Samurai battles being real-world situations too) making it even more effective. I'm seeing the Jujutsu techniques being used in these videos that would be highly effective in real-life situations/encounters as well. I was just saying that the effectiveness I just discussed here and demonstrated in these videos is not on any of these lists and I'm confused. Am disputing that it's not effective. Seems very much so to me, like Judo and Karate.
@@aaronzaremsky8434 oh I agree just that there is a train of thought that any martial art where there is resistance training is seen as better. However resistance training has rules so.. the practitioner is key imo.
Фигня.
Il jujutsu? Tecnica micidiale!!!!!!!
all looks good for the camera son but just remember, a black belt only covers two inches of your ass.
Not bad at all.
Discard all those low efficiency wrist locks and manipulations, and you have a viable and awesome martial art.
This looks good but judo and bjj are basically the updated version of Japanese jujutsu. It’s more effective.
these are battlefield arts where the techniques are against armed opponents wearing armour. the fundamental priciples of aikido, judo and bjj originate here. more effective really depends on the scenario and intent, but I get where you're coming from. you are talking about stress tested sports?
I love Japanese jiu jitsu
Like for just standing up, not laying on the floor
As it's a battlefield art, going to the ground was not encouraged, although there are basic ground techniques. Some traditional schools now incorporate more ne-waza (groundwork) which is probably the BJJ effect.
Nice But too quick
Some really excellent waza in there. I wonder if any schools adapt these techniques for modern attacks (jacket grabbing etc). I would expect many of these would work well in that scenario.
Credit truly goes to the green belt! Not only he takes each Atemi and fall, but he is committed to training!
A very impressive demonstration. (We got a little tired of the Brazilian version...) It's refreshing to see classic Japanese ju-jitsu at its best. If we could see the moves again in slow motion it would be even more successful.
@@Nobody-le2eo thank you for the feedback. Maybe we will cover slow motion and detail in a future video. I will discuss with sensei sallows.
I am a first-degree black belt in Kempo. This looks like an awesome learning system. Seems more serious and useful than what the BJJ fanboys do! keep it up!
It's jujutsu, stupid!!!
Far from the madding crowd.
2:08 very nice😊 I know that in judo it is forbidden, but in self-defense, it can be very useful.
I trained in Goshin jutsu 80s and 90s. Don't often hear or see much on it. Very effective art
I've seen none of these techniques being used in the UFC
of course you have
ah yes, street Judo.
Slow motion is recommended 0.75
If that Green Belt hasn't earned his Brown Belt, then I don't know what it takes! Lol, excellent job both of you
He’s a brown belt now 😊
@@swallowmedia Thats awaesome! Congrats
Thomas Sarah Smith Anthony Martinez Anna
This is really great. Just one question. Who attacks by grabbing opponents hand? 9 out of 10 times you will just get punched in the face right off the bat.
Super!! Thanks
No butt scooting. Beautiful
All of those techniques are 1000% dependent on the initial atemi. If the strike you see at the beginning of the technique fails to sufficiently distract or disable the opponent, then the technique will fail, and the opponent's power to resist and reverse will likely cause the practitioner to suffer injury. At the very least, the opponent will have had that opportunity to understand your game, making all the following techniques unlikely to succeed.
I love it
A few of these take downs looked familiar. Then i realized its because i was trained in the marine corps's martial arts program when i was in. 😎👍 thanks for sharing.
Is very useful in street
I was fortunate to have a kind boss in the National Guard who trained to become a Judan. Later, I incorporated lessons from him to a CQB focused military training series which emphasized all this and key ground defense techniques. An outstanding video👏🏻
Ju-jitsu is such an elegant art.
Very nice jujitsu
Question: Why did BJJ become the main component of JJ? The Gracie family charisma? The competition versus self protection component? I am curios . I have studied Kenpo and want to expand my knowledge of throws/grappling. I have found JJ schools are few/far between in the Bay Area.
This is the real complete art of destroying your enemy.
55th technique: Mahoraga(JJK fans will understand)
Grandioso
This is everything BJJ is missing. They just want to go to the ground. They miss 50% of the art.
100%
I know right
Is this jujitsu or jujutsu plz educate me
Jujitsu or JiuJitsu is a westernised spelling. jujutsu is original based on romaji
@@swallowmedia thanks
The same bloke trying to graph your shirt or neck👀🤔😂
I am learn all of this techniques from kungfu and silat. Martial art sure influencing each other 😮. Or maybe they all come from same root,,🤔
Great demo. So close to the Hapkido that I know, just one or two different throws and no kicks.
It's a shame there aren't many martial art schools or training centers that teach the traditional style of ju jutsu, all they offer is the Brazilian style, it's quite rare to come across any school that that teaches the original style.
This art has been taught to people in wheelchairs
El "Escaloni" del Jujutsu
this is real JuJutsu not that trash BJJ you see in MMA
Okay so Ju jutsu slams people to the ground and bjj either breaks bones or asphyxiate people.
UBBK JuJutso Stockholm!!! Love this
Judo, aikido, bjj,...and many others come from that martial arts...
