I'm really not feeling it. The artstyle (especially the Qunari change, yikes), combat direction and general Marvel banter just isn't doing it for me. I play Dragon Age for the closest thing to a LotR "fantasy world in peril" sorta vibe, good guys fighting impossible odds. None of what they showed really gave me any of the tones of previous entries.
I might get it a couple years down the road, on a steam sale, when any money BioWare makes off the game no longer affects their metrics. Really though the graphics and design look half assed, it has all the signs of being woke trash. And while it would be nice to see the story completely and maybe tie up some loose ends, ever since origin the series has a bad habit of relying on the mystery box strategy of leaving their most intriguing subplots unresolved, and ending each game with a cliff hanger that is either poorly resolved or dropped in favor of an entirely different story in the next game.
I've been chasing the dragon age origins high for 12 years now, and I just don't think bioware has it in them anymore 😮💨
@@EvermoreRadio Not the same BioWare. You can tell the exact moment ea bought them out because mass effect 3 started off really strong, all the characters you met throughout the series showing up for their epic moment of bad assery, shepherd forcing themselves through one last mission against all odds despite being at their absolute limit from 2 games worth of conflict and political bs. Then about halfway through the cracks started to appear, most notably with the resource board where your choices were limited to little more than numbers on a graph, and finally holy shit that ending. BioWare hasn’t been the same since.
I was really looking forward to this game. But now I conclude it's garbage. I won't give a penny for it. And I hope Bioware shuts it down so they don't destroy ME anyway.

Just let us have some morally grey decisions and classes. Maybe outright bad ones.
I heard that's impossible since Rook was made like Sola's Mirror (rebel and hero coded) so expect at best questioning someone and being cheeky
