1999 Pontiac Firebird Shift Knob Replacement
Hey guys! I’m sorry I forgot to include how to take the stick shift knob off, so what you need to do to get it off is a flat head screwdriver. The clip is located on the front of it facing towards the dash. Pry it out, and pull up on the shift knob and it will come off. I hope this video helped & was entertaining! Thank you all for watching & be sure to like, comment & subscribe!

Oil Change On A ‘99 Pontiac Firebird
Просмотров 2 тыс.6 лет назад
Just the usual oil change. It’s important to maintain an engine with the best of quality stuff. Comment if you know of a better oil than what I use. Ill give a shoutout from anyone with good advice! I’m not too much of a fan of Quaker state, Valvoline, Penzoil etc. that’s just me. They are good oils but I just prefer Mobil 1. Thank you guys!

Just a basic oil change on a Saturn Vue, synthetic oil can handle high temperatures and very low temperatures which is why I use it and produces less varnish!
Clogged Oil Filter
Просмотров 16 тыс.6 лет назад
A clogged oil filter isn’t good for the engine...the bypass opens in the filter so it gets some decent flow but the filtering part is no longer filtering so it’s just running debris through the engine, until I replaced the filter. Not the best filter but will get the job done until next oil change👌🏻
I had to look at another video - this - after ythe first one to verify: I was on the right bolt to get the oil out. Tht plug feels like they put epoxy on it before they rattled it back on.
But this year requires 5 W30?
5w 30*
KN went to random countries manufacturing
No boring bro. You help boost my confidence on that being my issue
I couldn't help but notice your using the wrong viscosity oil...reason???
Hey Man, i salute you from Romania, îs that the same oil filter as the 5.7 engine ? That's îs what i find heare, for 5.7, because others are verry small !fir the 3.8 heare ! Thank's !
Yep, any type of thick Lucas oil treatment, stop smoke, or stop leak will clogger oil filter and make your oil pressure go down because your oil is no longer free flowing. This happened to me when I used that Lucas oil treatment to clean out the engine before my oil change, and my oil pressure went significantly down. But once I change that clogged oil filter there was no problem.
what a coincidence im watching this vid for my 2000 firebird and im also near newton
I bought a new one for my Firebird and get it all put together (the way it says) and when I tighten everything the button won’t engage so I can shift! Wth am I doing wrong??
hmmm, fram filter collapsing. now theres a shocker!
shame on you for having a frame in there. worst filters on the market!
Is this fixable?
Any time you use the 5 to 6 K oil change intervals you end up with issues.
I have a question that might sound stupid would your oil filter clog as you're driving down the road and if you put a little clean oil in it because my dipstick says it's a little low and put some fresh oil in it and it runs just fine does not sound like it's chugging does anybody have any ideas?
Your first mistake was fram, they are literally the worst filters you can get
good excuse where is the plug of the trnasmicion hopefully and do me a favor I can not find it saturn vue 2006 automatic transmission greetings
Some info is always helpfull bro you don have to be perfect it help me to solve a issue on a semi truck

Would this fit a 2003 Saturn vue 3.0L?
Your vibe cool asf
My filter doesnt fit on my 2005 Saturn VUE
I'm sorry for the delay....I haven't been on this channel for a while. Why do you say it won't fit? What type of filter do you have?
Lucas oil did that to my blazer too!
It's a simple temporary fix until the next future oil change, most oils can run in an engine for a lot longer time because the newer process it goes through, but, the filters still clog before hand before the oil goes bad. There's a RUclips video on oil filters and what's in them and what they're made of and the guy cuts them apart hence why I run K&N in all of my cars and cars I work on. FYI, K&N oil filters are able to run synthetic easier=more oil flow. In older vehicles, blow-by gases kill oil's quicker so on my 1999 Pontiac Firebird I do frequent oil changes. It's over 20 years old with over 235K miles on it. I hope this reply helped you out!
@@screamingchicken6781 you should try Royal Purple filters. They have really good flow and fantastic filtration. I use it with Liqui Moly in my Titan. I use those filters on a bunch of vehicles. Quite pricey though at around $15 each.
@@bryanmartinez6600 I heard of them, I've heard really good things from them, and I'm pretty sure Royal Purple is better than K&N according to a video I saw on oil filter comparisons when someone cut them open and explained how they worked and what material they're made of etc.
I did not know where to find the engine oil filter, I have a half hour looking for it and with this five minute video it was my best class Thanks !
Ambrocio Cruz Anytime! Thank you for the support!
