Because you already carved into the plate for multiple colors. In other words it would be a limited edition Or perhaps could only ever be printed again in one color, right? very nice design. I've always seen the paper placed on the block, vs the block placed on the paper when printing. What advantage is that?

Hello! I have a question about multi-layer lino printing… is it preferable to print from dark to light, or from light to dark? If I needed to, could I print from dark to light without it looking wrong? Thank you! P.S. your art is amazing and I’m learning so much through your technique 💕
