This isn’t quite worth all the trouble just for a few candles, you can just get a friend that has the TGC cape so they can bring you through any time they are on. I have the TGC cape and I bring people though the gate such as Viony lie sky (Go sub to them they are a really good friend and has a bunch of content)

UPDATE OF JULY 2021: This method still works! You just need to make a very precise flight under the entrance room. Then you need to fly and land in the water. However, you will need a friend with the cape to go into the portal, but you can wait for a kind soul to take you over.

God i just tried this for like multiple times;-; and turns out i havent read the comment-

You can still go in the gap in the door to get in the oob vault area but when you get past the barrier it sends you back.
