This is because the Chinese sail down this way at this time, and on the journey back to china stopped in the islans for supplies and told the Polynesian of the islands in the south . Maui was a Chinese Captain. 😮😮😮😮😮😮
We love palestine
Thanks, David. Our best are leaving because of the socialist maorification of NZ e.g. the direction we are headed in is venezuela. Get rid of treaty, maori seats, te prati maori, and all racist agendas!
Europeans and White people in the background looked stunned so stunned they looked stupid! Go Hana! The youth are with you! We are with you! New Zealand Aotearoa is MAORI land, let me repeat that, NEW ZEALAND AOTEAROA IS A MAORI Land. Shame on these European/White people! If you don’t want Maori then you go back to Europe! I am not Maori but NZ is my home and I am friends with so many Maori, they have the biggest heart!
Rest in peace, brother. Thank you for your service. You won't be forgotten here.
Beautiful Wahine Toa 😊
As a proud Māori, I can nevertheless say that Hana is a great parliamentarian from a proud area of New Zealand, and she is a great parliamentarian because of what she’s fighting for. She’s fighting for native land to be returned to the people of Native Māori occupations. Kia ora, kia nui, e te ataahua o Aotearoa.
Well presented to the people
Onky 1 of our many Queens Comprend our Mighty Maori Nation💯
I live in Melbourne Australia on a benefit as a kiwi, and are thinking of moving back to Wellington. So ill check out Everybody eats Wellington in the near future.
Kia ora! I had a three month long once in a lifetime trip to Aotearoa 25 years ago and am so happy to see this story ... such a rich cultural history and wonderful people 💝 Check out the episode The Abductions from the podcast Stuff the British Stole!
It’s a shame Australia has not moved forward like NZ has here ❤
People in the third world want to be like people in "advanced" countries like New Zealand. Good thing most of them will never know what goes in New Zealand parliament.
marines were gien treaty papers in 1942 in case japs got them
Beautiful 😍
Which means they are not indigenous to New Zealand. End of game.
Kia mōhio mai koutou, a Te Tahioterangi, tētahi ōna i a Te Tini o Awa, tētahi anō taha ōna i heke mai i a Tūranga Pikitoi. Nā reira ko tana kanga ki a Te Tini o Awa i heke i a Awanuiarangi I, nō muri kē mai ko Ngāti Awa, he kārangaranga ingoa i a Awanuiarangi II
If the alternative is fossils, then bring it on i say. Nevermind whose heritage. The anchors on these things encourage fish life, so its win-win
Love her presentation ❤
That old lady in the background is all of us. ❤️
Global Awareness drive salute innovative ideas of Youth. New Zealand MP has a innovative style of expressing her joy.
What's the point? All 112 chiefs that signed it signed the treaty ceding sovereignty forever. But you aren't teaching that.
Now cut. About time!!

Does anyone have tbe translation of the speech? Including the haka part?
He said decades, not dickheads. I had to double check.
❤❤❤❤❤😂😂
Wow!
Judging by most of these triggered comments there is clear evidence to suggest a rapid decline in intelligence and sharp rise in the moron phenomena
Agreed.
Why is it that Māori continually Lie ? I sincerely wish that I and other New Zealanders could withhold our tax contributions just so that Māori could see how much they are subsidised by the majority of Tax Payers. As they have been since the treaty was signed. We don’t expect gratitude, but the truth, instead of this continuous litany of Lies from Māori, would be a refreshing change.
Since the Treaty was signed? There were only 2,000 of you here, and you were gifted land, subsequently from then to now, you stole the wealth of the country from Maori. In Kiingi Tuheitias rohe alone, you stole 1.5 million acres, which your stolen wealth is built upon. The cheek of you!
Such a vibrant speech, I salute you sister
So a mini ice age… so climate change… back hundreds of years ago! Hang on, we’re told it’s because of our emissions , carbon footprint etc etc . Someone’s taking the piss
North island, settled by the majority of Maori. South island settled by majority of Mooriori who later were forced to live on the Chatham island during the time.
And who were hunted and killed in a genocide by mainland Māori , but Māori don’t want to talk about that do they.
@@AnnSmith-u9c your racism is nauseating.
Beautifull speech, you can be proud of being here to represent Tangata Whenua 😃👍
How embarrassing
Not much difference between Māori settlement (750yrs) and European settlement (200yrs) really. The difference will quickly become smaller as a percentage of human settlement as time goes on. All a blip in time compared to Aboriginal settlement of Australia 50,000yrs+.
If maori bothered to get a job we wouldn't have to have all these immigrants
This will go down as the best maiden speech in history of all maiden speeches
Love how Mariameno is wholesomely infatuated 😁😍
