What a negative title i am going to marry the right man
Happy for you 💋
Thank you
😘😘😘
Amen
From steps 1-5, I believe I dodged a bullet. Thank you, these were all the questions I asked myself before I ended it and I realized he was not meant for me. The bare minimum / emotional Incompetence energy got unattractive. We all deserve better.
You do deserve better and congrats to you for recognizing that. You just made room for your better blessing 💕
I’m thankfully dating the right one☺️
Kudos to you for knowing how to pick good men 💛
@ it was only by God’s grace
The first point I agree with so heavily but I’ve been been in that situation where I was so sick or couldn’t take care of myself. I know with time I could find out but I don’t want to keep wasting time and become even more invested in the relationship. What should I do? 😭
Never been*
Early on in the relationship, bring up situations that you need help with (that aren’t money related) to see how he responds. Don’t outright ask for help though. The goal is to see if he offers and what he’s willing to do to help you. For example, maybe you don’t have anyone to watch your dog while you’re out of town, or you need to pick up your grandma from a doc appt but your car is broken. Seeing how he responds to smaller things will give you a sense of whether he’ll be the caretaker type for the bigger stuff.
@ omg thank you, this makes so much sense. Really appreciate the advice ❤️
DAMN GURL I LOVE THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN ITS REAAAAALLY GOOD
Thank you my boo 💕
Point 1 is so key… idk if I’ve ever been with someone like this but I know they exist
They 100% exist and you will 100% find one. Try to use discernment super early and look out for how he supports your stuff that has nothing to do with him. Get him to help you with stuff even if you don’t need the help just to see how he responds ✨
@ this is great advice, thank you so much 🥰❤️
Spot on about entrepreneur and corporate couples. That is something people dont talk about. I've had men say they only want corporate women, and the man im dating now is encouraging me to pursue entrepreneurship.
Loving this so hard for you. Kudos to being good at picking men 😘
The reason i broke up with my boyfriend is literally the second point. He had zero boundaries with his mom, like he ticks all of the boxes he is very kind and sweet and all but really I couldn’t get over the fact that he is a mama’s boy like he’s not assertive or decisive or whatsoever Dodged a bullet if you had to ask me, i was heartbroken at first but yeah thank god Also you mentioning that made me go YES YES EXACTLY Keep up the good work! The video was straight to the point and helped alot thankss
I hope you’re healing ok after the breakup ❤ For what it’s worth, you made the right choice. Mamas boys will never be able to prioritize their women. They should honestly just date each other 🙄
And thank you for your kind words 😘
❤️❤️😘
Very curious to see your growth on this channel , following you on this journey
Glad to have you 😘
Oh thank you sis, the points you've mentioned are literally what webt wrong with my parents. Now I'm old enough to be in the dating stage I really appreciate your advice as it is important in a healthy relationship ❤️
I’m sorry that happened with your parents, but I’m so glad you’re able to recognize it now and avoid those same pitfalls on your dating journey. 😘
Thank you for sharing! How terrifying.
Thank you for watching! And it really was!
A taxi driver straight out told my sister in law he was going to kidnap her. Luckily she stood up for herself enough he ended up dropping her home (said her husbsnd was waiting for her etc which was true.) She didn't report him because he then knew where she lived and she worried about retaliation. Always sit behind the driver and get their cab ID number before you get in. Don't travel alone unless you have to. Very scary! P.S. I've tried requesting a female driver but they didn't have many in my area and they were already booked. Should be a market for female cab drivers! I would pay extra. 👍
WTF. The fact that he even verbalized something like that is beyond me. Also, what I’m seeing in these comments is that mentioning a man (real or not) is the only thing (from what we think) that gets us out of these situations. Glad it got your SIL home safely though. I think there are 1 or 2 female only ride share companies, but don’t think they’re too popular.
You should file a complaint with his company. Even if there was no ill intent, at the very least, he's ripping off the company and pocketing the money by not calling in the ride. He gave you his cell number so that the ride does not go through the call center, so as far as the company is concern, he had no ride.
I agree 💯%. And I think we do need to report these kinds of incidents to police aswell. If several reports come in it starts to form a history and police can be more aware and more likely to respond. I find the non- urgent government hotline in my area is much better and happier to record incidents than trying to report to the local station (they are probably overwhelmed.) I'm not in US though.
You guys are 100% right. I wish I would have at the time
Tbh its always better to be safe then sorry. As a female whenever you get that feeling you have to act on it. The way he kept asking you if you were okay with the detours he was trying to see how submissive you are. No regular taxi driver would ever do that. The fact that he told you to call him is completely normal but its also being really nice? I would have personally also called it through the taxi company so they are on the loop and know you are with there driver. That last koce at the end was smart
He probably was trying to gauge my submissiveness. And ya, i didn’t take taxis for a while after that but when I did, I made sure to only ever go through the company!
Reminds me of yearrrs ago when I was being transferred between hospitals (they ordered me a car to transport me from ER to another campus). While en route the driver gets off the phone & said "If it's alright I'm going to pick up a homeboy of mine". In a daze & not feeling well I OBJECTED & told him I Do mind. I think he was stunned I had enough in me to speak up... so he swerved, resumed appropriate route but he cursed me out calling me all kinds of "b*tches" the whole way. It was still scary.
SIR, I’m literally at the hospital. Your “homeboy” has not place in this car. The nerve of him. Sorry that happened and Happy you’re safe 🙏🏽
You are a good story teller but man you take a long ass time to get to the point.
The entire point is her journey in the car, wtf
Dang, girl . . . I used that same ploy 54 years ago to get away from a rapist: "My boyfriend will definitely be looking for me. . . " I'm so glad that you thought fast and got away, and I believe you changed the outcome.
@@Vittachitta Thank God you were able to get away. And ya, that tactic is one every woman should always have in her back pocket. Thanks for watching 🥰
It could be everything u suspected because everything is so very possible…It also looks like it could be a regular set up to basically run the meter up to make more money. Maybe it’s their way of scamming passengers, especially women into paying more. He will scam the wrong person one day. Glad you’re safe 🙏🏽
It’s all fun and games until you try it with the wrong person. And thank you 😘
This is what I was thinking since he charged way more than it should have been. Either way super shady and disgusting behavior
What would you do?
You’re wasting your breath sista! This generation is lost and I feel sorry for the men that women have to choose from these days.
Literally every generation says that about the generation after it. But those statements really add nothing. Offering support and guidance just might though. 💄
Cree let's talk I'm in Houston
Great message 🥰
Thank you 😘
Settling vs compromising is a great point! Love this video 🩷
Thank you! Happy you enjoyed it! ❤
Speaking of paranoia, maybe telling your friends you are having a mental health day might be a bit of oversharing. I'm thinkin'maybe having a personal day might even be more self-respecting.
I wholeheartedly disagree. What you call “oversharing”, I call vulnerability and if you can’t be vulnerable with the people you consider friends, then your relationships need to be re evaluated.
Go ahead and let your like count number. People like me balk at the no count likes for paranoid reasons. It's probably hurting you.
Ah! I didn’t know my likes were hidden. New to RUclips so still figuring some of this out.
If only roles are reversed.
What do you mean?
This is really great advice 🔥
Thank you 🙏🏽
Yep. Marry a grown up not a grown big.
100% agree. 😂 What would you add as things to look out for when evaluating whether your man is a “grown up”?
@@creerobinson I would love to answer to this When evaluating a man I will check his belief system when I mean believe system not only faith But do we have faith in each other when I'm at the low can he stretch/ drag me up and look me in the eyes and say baby I believe in you.
May I mention how absolutely lucky your husband is
Thank you 🥰
@creerobinson smile 😉
THANK YOU
Amen Sister, ive heard exactly the same. ❤🙏🏻 It takes a village to raise a child.
It 100% does - doing it without one feels impossible 😭
Not only that. The fees it costs to have babies differ dramatically. They want you to pay 80k plus for child birth in the states. Outside of here. They don’t charge that much. On top of maternity leave and child care
I have a colleague who’s American but lives in Norway with his wife and new baby. The benefits he tells me about that they get… absolutely insane. They’re so taken care of 😮
@ mhm i cannot relate 😂 here in Atlanta Georgia, chileee its almost a 100k for a broken leg
That’s what happens when you have people interfering with your culture.. we just have to get back to our roots
THAT PART
Good point! How do you think we should start?
I like your make-up, what do you use?
Thank you! Concealer: Charlotte Tilbury 12 Tan + Mac NC48 Powder: Charlotte Tilbury Brows: Essence (Ulta brand) eye brow pencil Blush: Mac (it’s so old, the label has worn off) Lip: Essence (Ulta brand) loveable 16
Liquid eyeliner is also Essence!
American. I literally moved in with my brother and his wife for months after the birth of their third child so they could bond/adjust with her with additional supprt for their two oldest. Would totally do it again. My youngest brother and his wife (who don't have kid yet) have already put in their request for live in auntie assistance when the time comes!! 🤣🤣🤣
Celebrating you so hard for this. 👏🏽You’re incredible and they are so lucky to have you in their village. ❤
Oh sweet God, Jesus We God, Jesus😢
See I knew it. I’m sitting here with twins struggling (not financially), and I have no support. I watch everyone else happy, and it’s likely because they have support.
Whether or not you have support can really determine your parenting experience. And it’s so unfortunate that so many of us are just parenting alone, without even the resemblance of a village.
Support is important. Don’t be afraid to help you.
Off topic but ur so prettyy!!
