This is the second moto of the 250B Mod class at Unadilla on 5-20-2012. It was almost 7:00 at night so they had to shorten the race to 3 laps.
What kind of vapor blaster do you use
I need your help on sourcing and engine for my klx110 I'm new to dirtbikes but I'm not sure what engine I need mine is done for I bought it that way

Cool video like the way you went through it. About to do something very similar with a 2003 Suzuki DRZ 110 aka Kawasaki 110. Did this one already have the 4th gear upgrade in it? I saw it was an option for my 2003.

Wow this is not how to assemble the engine correctly, you need a crank puller installer tool not a mallet lol and you don’t crank that shift star on with an impact gun with the shift forks holding the drum In place your suppose to put that on when the drum is outside the case per service manual
Nope you’re wrong. A RUBBER mallet works perfectly fine, especially when you take the time to heat up the bearing area of the case. If it takes more than a few taps you either need more heat or a crank puller, which was obviously not the case on this engine. Also I didn’t CRANK the shift star bolt in with an impact I threaded it with the impact and used the torque wrench to tighten it to the torque spec. The torque spec of that bolt is nowhere near high enough to do any damage to the shift forks. There are plenty of shortcut techniques out there that work just fine that are not listed in “the manual.”

How did you get the crankshaft bearing into the right case? The video cut at that point. The manual says use a crankshaft jig and a press. Thanks!!
alex heat the case up with a torch and the crankshaft/bearing will slide right in.
Stephen Vertucci no chance of warping?
alex no, you only need to heat it for 20-30 second around the area where the crank bearing goes. You’d have to get it a lot hotter to start to worry about warping.

Are you missing some parts? Parts diagram shows a pin that goes to the magnet in the shift drum. I ask because Im rebuilding mine and don't seem to have that pin either
Adam Heichel I assume you’re referring to the spring and pin on the side of the shift drum that touches the neutral switch. I actually removed my spring and pin because I cut and soldered the neutral switch wires to themselves so that my bike always thinks it’s in neutral and I can start it while it’s in gear.

Sorry for my knowledge but, what do you mean by 143?? O thought it was a 110 🤷♂️ does that mean the piston is bigger? So it gets more power?? If you could explain it would be great, maybe on my DM @tomasfaure_ thanks and grear job
TOMAS FAURE yes exactly. I installed a 143 piston and cylinder on the to bike. It will have a lot more power than a 110 piston and cylinder.

I would suggest the Piranha T-4 exhaust system. I don't think anyone has this exhaust, so I think it would be great of you to stand out from the crowd a little.

also get a yoshi pipe tell pro taper bars also when you get the bbr swing arm powder coat it black with your black frame
put a bbr swing arm and converted forks and the plastics black and have black red and grey graphics with other red thing like lever and motor covers and it will look sick
I got mine split rn stroker on the way and need to wait for money for more parts I'll make some vids

You should get the full yoshimura pipe fast ace front end or marzzochi front end if you can find it and bbr super stock +2 swingarm edit just got to 5:19

A good way to get rid of that rattling on your Gopro is to Rip a layer of paper off a cardboard box and shape it into a little rectangle and put it between your gopro and your mount!
