The "green stuff" on circuit boards is not the FR4, FR4 is a yellowish fiberglass and resin mixture and is located in the inner layers the circuit board. The green you see on circuit boards is called solder mask and is screen printed or inkjet printed onto the board. FYI:)
How long does it take to make one board from start to finish?
They are mass produced after making a template So maybe the template could take a few hours and then the rest is done in minutes to reproduce
I WORK in the silicone Valley and I do make circuit boards.. depending on the layers and how many panels it could take about a week or so to complete a job of maybe 6 panels
I still don't understand exactly what/how electricity flows through it. Is there a small conductive wire (like copper) inside of the board that only goes through certain parts of the board or is the entire board conductive?
