Some people forget that distracting wasn't even a thing that Qwel wanted. Goob, Flutter, Pebble, etc, were made for *survival* and Qwel just changed Pebble's ability because people used him for distracting. I don't distract because I'm bad at it, and I have lag, I play as Goob to SURVIVE and help other players if they're in danger. I can survive without a distractor, and some people just use distractors as excuses to just camp elevator.

I play as extractor goob, extractor pebble, but that’s simply how the game was intended! and if those ppl don’t know that and are gonna be rude, then they might as well dont comment on it bc other ppl have feelings aswell.

As a goob main who mostlly extracts even though its slow, im tired of being told "GOOB GO DISTRACT!!" and being harassed just for my playstyle. (Not tryna seek attention..!)

Fun fact Not many people know this but in the teaser for Dandy’s World the first toon that we see extracting is Goob proving that there was no such thing as a distractor toon and it was just made for teamwork by players not by force.

This one Vee was bullying pebble for extracting. Who in their right mind bully a pebble for extracting, meanwhile letting toodles extract (with the same amount of stars as pebble).

I've played as an extractor and distractor goob and lemme tell you people who depends on distractors don't have a good survivalbility and i can solo my way to a high floor but i choose not to cuz ✨content✨

There's nothing wrong with extractor goobs, pebbles or flutters. Even sprout. As long as nobody is griefing (no matter the toon) everything is fine. I don't get why people is so pressed or angry about people playing those toon and extract. Like what if you want to be faster yet extract pretty good? What if you just want to play a fast toon? The label for "extractor" or "distractor" toons are just users labeling them by stats. Overall if you want to distract? fine. extract? Go ahead. Use whatever trinket you think would help you

Fun fact: Distracting isn't actually a thing in the game it was made up by the players to help them get through levels faster but Goob, Pebble, Flutter, Tisha and other toons who distracts they are made to have better survivability but are built to distract when they are actually supposed to extract so don't blame the "distractors" if they don't distract because it's not their job to do so it's their choice Summary: Distracting is just a thing players made up to pass by floors faster and Goob, Peb, Flutter and other don't have the responsibility to distract they can choose to distract or extract

THE FACT Gigi wanted goob out so bad that she literally lied like gurl what💀 like I understand what the goob is saying it’s just a survival multiplayer game and that somebody has proof 2 people have proof when was spectating in the Tisha/ you saw her die from low Stam or something get better at lying

you can 100% survive WITHOUT needing a distractor. you just need to be aware of ur surroundings and adapt to which twisted is on the floor. heck, you don't even need to distract mains and STILL survive. these people need to chill tbh cuz a lot of people (myself included) just wants to play as the toon they like. if there's people who plays a distractor toon on my team, i usually ask if they wanna distract or not to prepare for the game. it's better to inform early so others take note on it and be the distractor instead (AND NOT GRIEF. PLS CANT WE JUST PLAY WITHOUT GRIEFING PPL). So kinda a win/win on both sides yk?

Not relevant to the arguement at all but, I once got to floor 26 as a solo rodger. It's really not that hard to progress when you actually TRY to learn to survive. It's a SURVIVAL game afterall. Even with a distractor, you still need to learn the basics. What if the distractor goes afk? What if you keep taking aggro because you don't know how stealth works? What if there's a impossible main combo that the distractor can't distract? Learning the basics helps YOU and the DISTRACTOR alot.

It's kind of pathetic how reliant people have become on distractors, not able to handle a loose Cosmo and Boxten or else they will start pounding the floor like a little baby and scream: "BRING MY HEAD THE CHARLIE GOOB!!!!!" Qwel, the creator of Dandy's World herself has stated that you can take on any playstyle you desire with any character and if you have a problem with extractor Goob? then too bad so sad

THIS is why you go on solo runs because the more you go on soli runs, the more prepared you are when you encounter a twisted. For example, i made it to floor 14 solo because i didn't rely on the distractor. Yes, having a distractor when you're completely new at the game is fine, but you eventually have to become independent and try doing solo runs. Players shouldn't be mad that a goob is distracting. Instead, they should learn each twisteds ability to help them become more aware when they encounter it

distracting: Its a role *made by the players* to help make floors go faster. This role will consist of 4 - 5 star movement speed along with 3 - 1 star stealth, job is 'simple'. find an area, get twisteds aggro. Then start distracting them. The common toons used for this are: Pebble Goob Flutter RnD(on odd floors) But originally, all of them were survivalists. Who were meant to be slow extractors with haste. Some survivalists like scraps and teagan are *not* distractors, but teagan can make a pretty nice attempt. Like said before, *they were all survivalists.* Distracting was never a role in the game, and before you ask about pebbles ability. It was changed since the players used him for distraction(from what i've heard) So, in conclusion. THEY ARE ALLOWED TO EXTRACT.

This is the reason why I'm always the last to live. It's mainly because I'm either prepared for the Distractor to die or not be there while no one else is. Most Dandy's World Players below the age of twelve can't survive against Twisteds because they usually have a Distractor on the team. This is why I stopped Distracting, most people don't deserve it.

I got goob and I did my first run with goob and a cosmo told me to distract when I never distracted before and I died on floor 1

something kinda similar happened except it was only a vee targeting me, it was a run and when we were in the ele I said I extract, and when vee saw me extracting (like floor 5 or 6 I think) on the last machine they said "...' so in the ele I asked them "whats wrong" (this was my first time playing goob btw) and she was like "you need to distract, not extract" and I said "I'm not good at distracting sorry", before this she said "GET BACK TO WORK" idk? but she rlly wanted me to distract- so I left and joined another run! its been a long while since I've been harassed for being a extractor goob. :3

I was there I was Astro and Rodger was my friend. I did not know what was happening so I just said stuff. At the end I realized goob was good.

first of all for these dumbasses especially this rude gigi, all toons arent forced to distract or extract or heal not even goob and pebs, like extracting is easy, but distracting is hard especially when someone comes infront of you, and then afterall they be sad bc the distractor died, hmm i wonder why? ITS BC THEY LITERALLY FORCED THEM TO DO SMTH THEY DONT LIKE, like imagine if someone bought goob but doesnt know how to distract, THEY WILL DIE OFC, nobody is forced in games and irl

I carried as a Boxten. I'm not just saying this out of the blue, its because I actually knew how to survive without distracters, this is why I enjoy being backup distracters, because as soon as the main one dies I'm instantly called, showing people they won't get better if they cling to distracters, and if I extract when I'm low, suddenly the dandy run is over if dandy brings a heal. Like dang.

I don't know why "distractors" ever exist in the game, but the fact that pebbles, goob, flutter are not distractors to be honest like in every run they forced the goob main, flutter main and pebble main to distract like dandy said after you buy pebbles is to "take care of my dog" Like why they can't just handle their self's to not get killed by main twisteds (common-uncommon, rare), like they acting like a noob or just Weak to handle all of them. Like be fr, But tbh people that forcing "DiStRActoRs" to distract twisteds is just real annoying, And qwel never created distractors just because of their stats, But now they changed it, and qwel changed pebbles ability before the sprout Update, And I can feel that they were just "sighh.." and had no choice.

One time I did a shrimpo run and some mains were like trying to join and I was telling them alongside my friend telling them a clear NO since well- it's shrimpo only. And so they turned into shrimpos and joined the run, I happily went to the elevator alongside my comrade shrimpos and during the changing toon period- they turned back into mains and proceeded to grief us since well- "We turned into mains to help you guys live!" and apparently we were being the brats, WE DIDN'T WANT THAT AND I JUST WANTED A FUNNY SHRIMPO RUN, WE TOLD YOU NO! mains in my experience are entitled and rude. Some are good but most are entitled and stuck up. ❤

I got the same drama on an Dandy to Normal run. I was extracting and someone named PINKIE_PIE started harrassing me and told me to kms (I think) just because I was extracting as Goob.
